NVIDIA Quadro 4000M
NVIDIA Quadro 4000M – это профессиональная мобильная видеокарта, основанная на архитектуре Fermi (возможно с чипом GF104). В сравнении с 5010M, адаптер 4000M не поддерживает функциб памяти ECC и вычислительные процессы с плавающей точкой. Серия Quadro оснащается сертифицированными драйверами, которые оптимизированы для стабильной и производительной работы в профессиональных приложениях, таких как CAD, DCC в области медицины и визуализации. Производительность OpenGL, например, должна быть значительно лучше чем в других видеокартах GeForce с похожими характеристиками. Шейдеры и ядра CUDA используются посредством DirectX 11 и OpenGL 4.1 для графического рендеринга, а DirectCompute, OpenCL, AXE и CUDA - для выполнения общих вычислительных задач. Благодаря новой архитектуре Fermi, 4000M должна иметь высокую производительность при выполнении общих вычислений. Кроме того, Nvidia Quadro 4000M совместима с новой стереоскопической технологией NVIDIA 3D Vision Pro. Для автоматического переключения между встроенной и дискретной картой Quadro 4000M, в ней предусмотрена функция Nvidia Optimus. Внедрение этой технологии в ноутбуки зависит от конкретного производителя ноутбука. Энергопотребление у Quadro 4000M, такое же как и у GeForce GTX 480M (TDP составляет 100 Вт), что встречается и устанавливается только в большие ноутбуки, такие как Clevo D901F.
