NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU (кодовое название GN21-X9) - это графический процессор высокого класса для ноутбуков. Он основан на чипе AD104, как и настольный RTX 4070 Ti, и использует архитектуру Ada Lovelace. Чип AD104 предлагает максимум 7.680 шейдеров (например, RTX 4070 Ti Desktop), из которых RTX 4080 Laptop использует 7.424 и 192-битную шину памяти. В мобильной RTX 4080 используется 12 ГБ выделенной графической памяти GDDR6 с тактовой частотой 16 или 20 Гбит/с (эффективная). Общая мощность графики (TGP) может быть настроена в диапазоне от 60 до 150 Вт (+ 25 Вт Dynamic Boost от CPU), что приводит к различным уровням производительности (для сравнения, настольная RTX 4070 Ti использует 285 Вт). Тактовая частота буста варьируется от 1350 МГц (при 60 Вт TGP) до 2280 МГц (150 Вт). Таким образом, производительность также сильно зависит от настроек мощности, используемых для RTX 4080 mobile в ноутбуке.
RTX 4080 предлагает 232 тензорных ядра (4-го поколения), которые позволяют использовать DLSS 3, включая генерацию кадров в поддерживаемых играх. Кроме того, 58 ядер трассировки лучей (4-го поколения) могут использоваться для эффектов трассировки лучей в поддерживаемых играх.
