При нагрузке на одно ядро максимальная частота достигает 4 ГГц. Номинальное TDP процессора равно 180 ватт. Наличие 16 ядер позволяет 1950X очень хорошо справляться с многопоточными задачами, но в современных играх (2017 и 2018 год) топовые восьмиядерные процессоры, включая Ryzen 7 2700X и Core i7-8700K, дают больше кадров в секунду.
