Intel Core i7-8565U
Intel Core i7-8565U - это энергоэффективный четырёхъядерный процессор для ноутбуков и ультрабуков. Использует архитектуру Whiskey Lake, представлен в апреле 2019 как часть семейства с поддержкой vPro. В отличие от предшественника Core i7-8550U производится по дополнительно улучшенному 14 нм++ техпроцессу и обладает более высокими частотами (4.6 ГГц против 4 ГГц). Встроенная графика - это по-прежнему Intel UHD Graphics 620 , практически не отличается от старого - Intel HD Graphics 620. Контроллер памяти у этого процессора двухканальный, рассчитан на взаимодействие с DDR4-2400 или LPDDR3-2133.
Архитектура
Используется та же микроархитектура, что и в Skylake - Kaby Lake, так что и производительность на такт осталась неизменной. Принципы изменения поведения процессора в зависимости от нагрузки (Speed Shift) были переработаны, чтобы быстрее адаптировать напряжения и частоты под текущую ситуацию. Модернизированный 14 нм производственный процесс даёт возможность поднять частоты и эффективнее распоряжаться энергией.
Производительность
Производительность сильно зависит от качества охлаждения в конкретном ноутбуке и того, какие ограничения на TDP установлены для сценариев кратковременной/длительной нагрузок. Наша база данных показывает 23-процентную разницу в производительности между 15-ваттным референтным 8550U и таким же, но иначе настроенным 8550U в ноутбуке Inspiron 17-7773 (речь о бенчмарке Cinebench R15 Multi). При растянутой по времени вычислительной нагрузке разница может быть и более впечатляющей. В общем плане можем сказать, что i7-8550U обеспечивает примерно такую же скорость работы, как 35-ваттный Core i5-7440HQ из прошлого поколения. А в однопоточных тестах результаты и вовсе выбиваются в самый верх базы данных.
Видеокарта
Встроенный графический процессор Intel UHD Graphics 620 (Intel Gen 9.5)мало отличается от того решения, что использовалось в семействе Kaby Lake. При использовании быстрой двухканальной памяти производительность будет сравнима с дискретной видеокартой GeForce 920M . Есть поддержка аппаратного декодирования 10-битных видео HEVC H.265 Main 10, а также Google VP9. В выпущенных позже начала 2017 года процессорах Kaby Lake Refresh есть поддержка HDCP 2.2.
Энергопотребление
Как и процессоры прошлого, седьмого поколения, 8550U изготавливается на улучшенном 14 нм производственном процессе FinFET (он же 14nm+). Заявленное значение TDP равно 15 Вт, это норма последних лет для процессора класса ULV. Порог тепловыделения может быть изменён в пределах от 7.5 Вт (cTDP Down) и до 25 Вт.
