Intel 4600M

Intel Core i7-4600M - мощный двухъядерный процессор для ноутбуков, построенный на архитектуре Haswell. Он появился на рынке во втором квартале 2013 года и производится на 22-нм техпроцессе. Благодаря технологии Hyper-Threading, его два ядра способны одновременно обрабатывать до четырех потоков данных, что позволяет лучше использовать ресурсы процессора. Оба ядра работают на базовой частоте в 2.9 ГГц, но способны автоматически ускоряться с помощью технологии Turbo Boost до 3.5 ГГц (2 активных ядра) или 3.6 ГГц (1 активное ядро).

Архитектура Haswell - преемница архитектуры Ivy Bridge с улучшенной производительностью как процессора, так и встроенной видеокарты. Процессоры производятся на 22-нм техпроцессе и оснащены улучшенным предсказателем переходов, а также дополнительными портами исполнения, что особенно улучшает многопоточную производительность с использованием технологии Hyper-Threading. Новые же наборы инструкций, например, AVX2 и FMA, должны увеличить производительность в совместимых приложениях в будущем.

Благодаря улучшенной архитектуре, производительность Core i7-4700HQ в среднем на 5-10 процентов выше, чем у процессоров семейства Ivy Bridge с аналогичной тактовой частотой - например, i7-3540M.

Встроенная видеокарта Intel HD Graphics 4600 оснащена 20 исполнительными устройствами и работает на частоте в 400 МГц (до 1300 МГц при разгоне в режиме Turbo Boost), поэтому ее производительность примерно на 30% выше, чем у HD 4000.

Расчетное тепловыделение i7-4600M составляет 37 Вт, включая встроенную видеокарту, контроллер памяти и регуляторы напряжения. Поэтому процессор подходит для ноутбуков с диагональю экрана от 14 дюймов.
