AMD R7 3780U

AMD Ryzen 7 3780U, один из полу-кастомных процессоров для устройств Microsoft Surface - это процессор мобильного сегмента. Был представлен в октябре 2019 в составе 15-дюймового Surface Laptop. Имеет четыре ядра Zen+ (8 потоков) с частотой работы 2.3-4 ГГц, а также встроенный видеопроцессор Radeon RX Vega 11 (704 ядра) с частотой работы до 1400 МГц. TDP для процессора 3780U и встроенных в него компонентов номинально составляет 15 Вт, как раз для тонких ноутбуков среднего класса.

По сравнению с Ryzen 7 3700U, похожей моделью, 3780U оснащается более быстрым видеопроцессором, Vega 11 против Vega 10.

Трёхтысячные мобильные процессоры Ryzen (семейство Picasso) используют архитектуру Zen+. Незначительные улучшения относительно Zen дают до 3% прироста быстродействия на такт. Более современная 12-нанометровая литография, против 14 нм для Zen, обеспечивает более высокие частоты без роста энергопотребления.

Встроенный в 3780U двухканальный контроллер памяти совместим с DDR4-2400 и менее высокими частотами. Набор умений и возможностей в процессорах Picasso совпадает с предшествующими Raven Ridge.

По сведениям производителя, рядовой процессор семейства Picasso на 8% опережает своего прямого предшественника. Потому Ryzen 7 3780U должен обеспечить несколько большую скорость работы, чем Ryzen 7 2700U. Не слишком значительно большую.
