AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS - это мобильный процессор для игровых ноутбуков. Содержит 8 ядер и основан на архитектуре Zen 3. Базовая рабочая частота составляет 3.3 ГГц, а максимальная - 4.8 ГГц, поддерживается SMT (16 потоков). Чип произведен по 7-нм техпроцессу на фабрике TSMC.
По сравнению с Ryzen 9 5980HX (до 54 Вт), TDP Ryzen 9 5980HS составляет 35 Вт, а частота ниже на 300 МГц. Новая микроархитектура Zen 3 обеспечивает существенный прирост производительности на такт (IPC) по сравнению с Zen 2. За счет таких улучшений новый чип обеспечивает заметный прирост над предыдущим Ryzen 9 4900H.
В процессора интегрирована графика Radeon RX Vega 8 с 8 вычислительными блоками и частотой до 2100 МГц. Контроллер оперативной памяти в чипе двухканальный и поддерживает DDR4-3200, а также LPDDR4 4266. Объем кэш-памяти третьего уровня насчитывает 16 МБ.
Уровень TDP составляет 35 Вт, за счет чего процессор подходит для тонких игровых ноутбуков.
