 OMAP 4460

OMAP 4460 - 45-нм чип четвертого поколения, разработанный компанией Texas Instruments (TI) для смартфонов и планшетов. Он оснащен двумя процессорными ядрами Cortex A9, работающими на частоте от 1.2 до 1.5 ГГц, и поддерживает набор инструкций ARM v7 с расширениями ARM NEON SIMD (Single instruction, multiple data - одна инструкций, множество данных).

В чип также встроен видеоадаптер PowerVR SGX540, работающий на частоте в 384 МГц и способный использовать тот же контроллер памяти LPDDR2, что и ядра процессора. По сравнению с OMADP 4430, в 4460 и процессор, и видеоадаптер работают на более высокой частоте.

OMAP 4460 используется в небольшом количестве планшетов и смартфонов, включая Samsung Galaxy Nexus и Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7. Если говорить о производительности процессора и видеоадаптера, то чип ближе к nVIDIA Tegra 2, чем к Tegra 3. Встроенный видеоадаптер SGX540 устарел и почти полностью был вытеснен куда более мощным SGX543, использующимся в планшете Apple iPad третьего поколения.
