Intel Core i3-3120M
Intel Core i3-3120M - двухъядерный процессор для ноутбуков, основанный на архитектуре Ivy Bridge. Благодаря технологии Hyper-Threading, его два ядра способны одновременно обрабатывать до четырех потоков данных, что позволяет лучше использовать ресурсы процессора. Он не поддерживает Turbo Boost, поэтому его максимальная частота равна базовой и составляет 2.5 ГГц. Как и его предшественники семейства Sandy Bridge, он оснащен 3 МБ кэша L3. Архитектура Ivy Bridge - усовершенствованная архитектура Sandy Bridge с улучшенной производительностью как процессора, так и встроенной видеокарты. Производство процессоров Ivy Bridge перешло на 22-нм техпроцесс (процессоры Sandy Bridge производились на 32-нм) и использует 3D-транзисторы, позволяя уменьшенное энергопотребление по сравнению с процессорами Sandy Bridge равной частоты. Из прочих новых возможностей стоит упомянуть встроенный контроллер PCI Express 3.0 и поддержку памяти DDR3(L)-1600. Благодаря улучшенной архитектуре, производительность Core i3-3120M немного выше, чем у процессоров семейства Sandy Bridge с аналогичной тактовой частотой. В среднем, она должна быть на 5-10% выше, чем у i3-2370M. Несмотря на одинаковое количество ядер/потоков и сравнимые базовые частоты, процессоры Core i5 заметно (на 10-25%) быстрее благодаря поддержке Turbo Boost. Встроенная видеокарта Intel HD Graphics 4000 оснащена 16 исполнительными устройствами (EU), работает на частоте 650 МГц и способна ускоряться до 1100 МГц с помощью технологии Turbo Boost. Ее производительность чуть ниже, чем у AMD Radeon HD 6620G. Как и у большинства двухъядерных процессоров Ivy Bridge для ноутбуков, расчетное тепловыделение i3-3120M составляет 35 Вт (включая встроенную видеокарту и контроллер памяти). Поэтому этот процессор подойдет даже для небольших ноутбуков.
