AMD A8-5557M
AMD A8-5557M (BGA-версия A8-5550M) - четырехъядерный процессор для ноутбуков, основанный на архитектуре Richland. По сравнению с его предшественником A8-4600M, в A8-5550M/5557M немного повысилась производительность самого процессора и встроенной видеокарты. Процессор состоит из 4 вычислительных ядер, встроенной DirectX 11-совместимой видеокарты, северного моста и контроллера памяти DDR3. По сравнению c семейством Trinity, в Richland мало что нового. Новых возможностей нет, производительность на мегагерц все та же. Дизайн чипа по-прежнему основан на архитектуре Bulldozer, состоящей из так называемых модулей. Каждый модуль включает два вычислительных ядра и всего один математический сопроцессор (FPU). Как и Trinity, Richland имеет почти все современные возможности - набор инструкций AVX (включая FMA), аппаратную поддержку AES-шифрования и технологию Turbo Core. Исходя из тактовых частот от 2.1 до 3.1 ГГц, A8-5557M должен быть примерно на 15 процентов медленнее, чем A10-5750M и должен сравняться с Core i3-2310M. Поэтому производительность в современных играх и приложениях достаточная. Встроенная видеокарта Radeon HD 8550G оснащена 256 потоковыми процессорами (VLIW4), работающими на частоте немного выше, чем в HD 7640G - 554-720 МГц. При использовании быстрой двухканальной памяти, производительность должна сравняться с дискретной Radeon HD 7570M. Расчетное энергопотребление процессора составляет 35 Вт, что сравнимо с конкурирующими процессорами среднего класса. Поэтому A8-5557M лучше всего подходит для ноутбуков от 14 дюймов.
