AMD A4-4300M
AMD A4-4300M - двухъядерный процессор для ноутбуков, основанный на архитектуре Trinity. Он появился в 2012 году и должен заменить устаревшие процессоры A-серии на архитектуре Llano. Он производится на 32-нм техпроцессе и оснащен двумя процессорными ядрами, работающими на частоте до 2.5 ГГц (до 3 ГГц в режиме Turbo Core), а также видеокартой Radeon HD 7420G, двухканальным контроллером памяти, видеодекодерами/кодировщиками и северным мостом. Ядра процессора основаны на переработанной архитектуре Bulldozer, названной Piledriver. Она состоит из так называемых модулей, каждый из которых состоит из двух вычислительных ядер и всего лишь одного математического сопроцессора. Поэтому назвать A4-4300M полноценным двухъядерным процессором нельзя. По сравнению с ядрами Bulldozer, AMD удалось улучшить производительность на такт и одновременно повысить тактовую частоту. Несмотря на это, прирост многопоточной производительности по сравнению с Llano незначительный. Технология Turbo Core 3.0 позволяет ускорить однопоточную производительность, хотя и не так хорошо, как это делает Intel Turbo Boost. Также поддерживаются наборы инструкций AVX (включая FMA) и шифрование AES. Производительность A4-4300M сравнима с A4-3310MX (Llano). Новая архитектура и обновленная технология Turbo Core улучшили однопоточную производительность. В большинстве случаев, A4-4300M оказывается медленнее процессоров Intel Pentium, но для всех простых задач, включая работу с браузером или офисными приложениями, его мощности хватит, чего нельзя сказать о редактировании видео и прочих требовательных приложениях. Встроенная DirectX 11-совместимая видеокарта Radeon HD 7420G оснащена 192 потоковыми процессорами из 384 возможных на архитектуре Trinity и работает на частоте от 470 до 640 МГц (Turbo Core). В среднем, производительность колеблется от уровня Radeon 6520G (Llano) до Intel HD Graphics 4000. Энергопотребление A4-4300M сравнимо с двухъядерными процессорами Ivy Bride и составляет 35 Вт (TDP). Процессор подойдет для ноутбуков с диагональю экрана от 14 дюймов.
