После необъяснимого отсутствия, топовый AMD Ryzen 7 4800U наконец соизволил появиться на сцене. Итогом стал выход невероятного 14-дюймового ультрабука с сумасшедшей производительностью! Результаты тестов таковы, что рекомендовать аналог на Intel при одинаковой цене даже при всем желании невозможно.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 proves to be an all-rounder. It has a fairly decent screen, doesn’t heat up, works well with multiple apps and browsers, has good Dolby tuned stereo speakers, features all the basic ports and has amazing battery life. If you want a laptop that is a bang for the buck, this comes really close. At ₹78,990 this seems to have it all. Unfortunately, there’s just one variant available if you specifically want to go for the AMD chipset version. The Yoga Slim 7i (Intel version) is also there with several iterations based on different storage and RAM capacities. However, considering the fact that Intel 11th-gen is still at 10nm (for laptops) and AMD 4000 Series is at 7nm, makes the latter a bit more efficient in terms of balancing power and battery.

With a starting price of RM3499, I think this is an excellent laptop for work and creating contents. Personally, I totally love the battery performance and dual stereo speakers. The face unlock feature and the auto-brightness adjustment are nice additions as well. If you want to play some games, it's still fine but just not Triple-A video game titles. Laptops like this are generally quite expensive and could go over the RM5K mark easily, but if compared with the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 which we reviewed earlier this year, I would prefer the Yoga Slim 7.

As an all-rounder, I'm having a hard time finding any other device that offers the same kind of value for the same kind of money as this Lenovo IdeaPad (Yoga) Slim 7. This is the most capable implementation of the mobile AMD Ryzen platform we've seen so far, and Lenovo didn't skimp on the build quality, screen, thermal design, speakers or inputs either. At the same time, don't expect this to feel as premium or offer all the bells and whistles available on 2000+ USD/EUR ultraportables, because it doesn't. But it's also a much more affordable option, and pretty much unmatched in its segment right now.

Производительность ультрабуков на платформе Ryzen 4000 уже не нуждается в рекламе. Если в спецификациях указан восьмиядерный Ryzen, значит, перед вами одна из самых быстрых машин под Windows (после того как появились «Макбуки» с ARM'овскими чипами Apple M1, придется каждый раз делать поправку на архитектуру и операционную систему). Единственное узкое место всех «красных» конфигураций Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 — отсутствие дискретного GPU. Впрочем, для мобильных компьютеров, ориентированных на офисные задачи или нетребовательные развлечения, мощная графика не является предметом первой необходимости. Кроме того, и это относится ко всем компактным ноутбукам, чтобы выжать из Yoga Slim 7 максимум быстродействия, придется мириться с сильным нагревом SoC и довольно высоким уровнем шума. Но в режиме умеренного энергопотребления лэптоп работает чрезвычайно тихо без особого вреда для тактовых частот.

We’re talking about the screen. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro has an unusually high resolution 2880 x 1800 pixel display, not the 1080p that is still the norm at the price. However, this is just a flourish among a series of great elements that make the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro so enjoyable to use. It has a good keyboard, a glass touchpad, decent enough battery life and excellent build, hitting all the most important bases for an ultraportable.

I really like the Lenovo Slim 7 because of its great OLED touchscreen, strong performance, good battery life and comfortable design. I like it enough that I held onto our review unit a bit longer than usual so I could carry it to some events and use it for work, something I don't usually do with review hardware. Sure, the power button is in an inconvenient spot and the charging cable is too short. You also can't play many games at great framerates on this machine, though I had plenty of fun playing older strategy games like Endless Legend on the go. If you want something more powerful in a laptop for roughly the same price, I recommend looking at a budget gaming laptop like the MSI Bravo 15 instead.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and snappy performance combined with a long battery life, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i (14″, Gen 9) could be a good choice for professionals who travel a lot. Now, the clocks of the optional Core Ultra 7 155H are decent, not impressively high. That has its positive side – the noise under full CPU load isn’t intrusive while the overall performance is still on point. At the same time, the comfortable keyboard doesn’t feel scorching hot to the touch. The 14-inch OLED display (LEN140WUXGA (LEN88AC)) is great! It covers fully the the DCI-P3 gamut, and it boasts a high max brightness of 388 nits in SDR mode alongside an infinite contrast ratio and good color coverage. The only con of the panel is the PWM usage.

It’s quite durable, too, and features a comfortable keyboard deck as well. The display’s refresh rate could’ve been higher, though, and I wish the laptop offered a better webcam as well. The laptop’s battery backup also leaves something to be desired. Still, I believe it strikes a good balance between the Core Ultra 7 155U-powered HP Envy 14 (review) and the more powerful Dell Inspiron 14 Plus (review), which does not have an OLED display. With the number of laptops coming out with similar specs, it was difficult to get too excited about the Lenovo Slim 7. That said, if this isn’t exactly the laptop of your dreams, it’s hardly the laptop of your nightmares either. Looking at performance alone, it held its own with the competition and, in multicore testing, did very well. The bloatware was the most notable issue with this laptop, but it’s only a problem for as long as you let it remain a problem. The software doesn’t seem too sneaky to be difficult to uninstall, and once it’s gone, you won’t have to worry about it anymore. The just-average battery life is harder to overlook, but there is enough juice here to get most people through a workday. One alternative mentioned above is the Asus Zenbook Duo, with its titular dual screens.

NVIDIA GeForce MX350: Видеокарта-преемница MX250. Скорее всего, представляет собой переименованную GTX 1050, то есть, используе видеопроцессор GP107 с 640 ядрами и 128-битную видеопамять GDDR5.

Это SoC для использования в ноутбуках и планшетах самого тонкого типа, оснащенная 4 новыми ядрами E и 4 новыми ядрами P, работающими на частоте до 4,8 ГГц, а также новым многообещающим iGPU Arc 140V и 32 ГБ оперативной памяти LPDDR5x-8533 в комплекте. Также предусмотрены новый нейронный движок 47 TOPS, поддержка TB 4 и PCIe 5 SSD.
