With a sleek chassis, solid 360˚ hinge and a bundled stylus, you have a 2-in-1 that combines good looks and great performance – and all at a keen price. If you want a 2-in-1, it has to be either this or the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. For our money, the Lenovo Yoga C940 edges it.

One of the strongest points of this laptop is its display. Its 1080p IPS panel (LG LP140WF9-SPE2) has good maximum brightness, comfortable viewing angles, great contrast ratio and doesn’t use PWM to adjust its brightness levels. In terms of color representation, it is able to recreate 94% of the colors in sRGB and with the help of our Gaming and Web design profile, the display reaches an Average dE of 0.7, which is great for color-sensitive work.

Overall, I quite liked the Lenovo Yoga C940. Aside from the size -- which for my taste, was just a bit too large -- the Yoga offers a unique 2-in-1 system that gives you all the benefits of a traditional clamshell laptop. I prefer Lenovo’s approach to Microsoft’s here, mostly because it trades off tablet usability for improved laptop performance.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.

Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 (Ice Lake 64 EU): Видеопроцессор, встраиваемый в отдельные процессоры Intel архитектуры Ice Lake. Задействует графическую архитектуру Intel одиннадцатого поколения с 64 кластерами вычислительных ядер (из возможных 64). Частота зависит от конкретной модели ЦП, базовая составляет 300 МГц, Boost-частота может достигать 1100 МГц. Процессоры Ice Lake и все встроенные в них компоненты изготавливаются на современном 10-нанометровом производстве компании Intel.

Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 (Ice Lake 48 EU): Видеопроцессор, встраиваемый в процессоры Intel Ice Lake серии G4. Задействует графическую архитектуру Intel одиннадцатого поколения с 48 вычислительными ядрами из возможных 64. Частота работы меняется по мере роста нагрузки с минимальных 300 МГц до 1050 или 1100 МГц (частота Boost разная в зависимости от модели процессора.) Процессоры Ice Lake изготавливаются на современном 10-нанометровом производстве силами компании Intel.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности способны на многое и подойдут для большинства игр, иногда даже при максимальных настройках и разрешениях. Чаще всего GPU "просто верхнего" уровня производительности расходуют заметно меньше энергии, чем самые-самые топовые и дорогие модели.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q: Мобильная дискретная видеокарта среднего уровня, предназначена для тонких и легких ноутбуков. Графический процессор построен на архитектуре Turing, но в нем нет RT- и тензорных ядер

Intel Ice Lake:

i7-1065G7: Маломощный четырёхъядерный процессор на архитектуре Ice Lake. Ориентирован на тонкие, лёгкие ноутбуки. Частота ядер меняется в пределах 1.3 - 3.9 ГГц, параметр IPC (производительность на такт) должен быть на 18% выше моделей предшествующего семейства (и таким образом компенсировать снижение частот). Изготавливается компанией Intel на 10-нанометровом производстве 10nm+.

i5-1035G4: Мобильный энергоэффективный процессор семейства Ice Lake

Intel Coffee Lake:

i7-9750H: Мобильный процессор для мощных игровых ноутбуков. Шесть ядер способны работать на частоте от 2.6 до 4.5 ГГц
