You get a great UHD display, beefy components, and a good set of speakers for all your multimedia needs. The Dell Inspiron 15 7559 is a mid-range laptop (£999) attempting to bring a 4K display to the mass enthusiast audience. However, the Inspiron has solid foundations aside from its glorious 4K display. The Skylake Core i7-6700HQ is a very powerful CPU, providing great results across our tests, including SiSoft Sandra and Cinebench R15. It certainly wipes the floor with my desktop Core i3-4160. One area that could be enhanced is the system memory. Presumably to keep costs down, Dell use older DDR3 RAM (PC3-12800) in the Inspiron instead of newer, faster DDR4 memory. It is not a huge problem as the system still performs very well, but DDR4 support would help provide extra security for those looking for a ‘future-proof’ laptop.

The Dell Inspirion 15 7000 Series (7559) is an excellent value, offering good gaming and productivity performance at a reasonable price. It scored close to more-expensive systems on the tests, even beating them in some cases. And it sports a solid, albeit somewhat hefty, chassis and a full HD display and manages to include extras like dual-band wireless, Ethernet, Bluetooth, a backlit keyboard, and decent port options. The Alienware 15 is at the very top end of the budget price range, and though it does offer more features, and its performance on some tests was better, the differences aren't worth the $700 jump in price. Though the design of the Inspiron 15 7000 is a bit basic, especially compared to flashy rivals like the HP Spectre X360, it performs well and is quite affordable at just $749. A similarly configured Spectre is $400 more, and the Samsung Notebook 9 in this config is $250 more. What’s more, it doesn’t seem like many corners were cut to reach that low price either. This laptop has a fantastic keyboard and trackpad, great audio, and ran very well in our benchmarks. Think of it as the Honda Accord of laptops. It’s not going to win any fashion contests or draw looks of envy in the boardroom or coffee shop, but it offers great performance and features at an affordable price. For many buyers, that’s a very compelling offer.

DELL’S XPS 13 LINEAGE, now in its sixth generation, has long been regarded as the pinnacle of svelte laptops. When they first appeared in the wild, people were amazed that such a finely crafted product could be made outside of the fruity confines of Infinite Loop. Over its lifespan, Dell has tweaked the design, updated the hardware, and, back in 2015, added the Infinity Edge display. This made a rather tempting piece of hardware extremely so—who can resist the non-Euclidean charms of a 13- inch display fitting inside an 11-inch case? Especially when said display is a beautiful QHD+ touch affair. Aesthetics aside, Dell’s other trick here has been its support of Linux on its hardware. Since its inception, the XPS 13 range has been available in a Developer Edition, which features identical hardware, but runs Ubuntu Linux.

Gone are the small hinges on either side of the screen that felt weak, and they have been replaced with a subsantial, solid single hinge in the middle of the notebook. This feels much less likely to break than the previous iteration, and helps stabilize the notebook from screen wobble.

Bottom line, the 7567 is a pretty nice basic midrange gaming laptop, but you should consider the drawbacks and price. The Kaby Lake + GTX 1050 Ti is a powerful combination for $800, battery running times are pretty good, thermals and noise are handled well and the looks will satisfy probably many people. I’d suggest considering this laptop in case it can be bought for a price of $700-$750 (1050 Ti version), but for $850-$900 it comes pretty close to the GTX 1060 3GB laptops which might have some other advantages like better connection ports selection.

It’s super affordable in most regions of the world and offers powerful hardware for the asking price but unfortunately for the OEM, there are other similarly priced rivals on the market delivering features that the Inspiron 7567 doesn’t. The main drawback of the machine is the lackluster TN panel which will be a deal-breaker for a lot of users. If you are able to spend a little bit more, we suggest that you consider the ASUS ROG Strix GL553VE or the more reasonably priced Lenovo Legion Y520. The GTX 1050 Ti configuration of the Aspire VX 15 from Acer is also a good option.

Да, далеко не всегда графике покорятся максимальные настройки качества графики, но на высоких и средних настройках получить комфортное количество кадров в секунду вполне возможно. Нетребовательные к железу игры вроде Dota 2, CS: GO, World of Warcraft или StarCraft II тем более по плечу младшей версии GeForce Pascal.

If you're gaming on a budget, you can't do much better than the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop. Priced at $849, it appeals to the pinch-a-penny-make-Lincoln-cry aspect of my personality, while appeasing most of my demanding gamer sensibilities and delivering a battery life that has to been seen to be believed. Plus, that Hibiscus Red is just plain purty.

Нет, вентиляторы, конечно, работают, но то чтобы громко, не выше 44-46 дБ при решении тяжелых задач, что даже удивительно. После этого мы подумали, что наверное Dell Inspiron 15 7577 сильно греется. Но оказалось, что корпус остается прохладным. В режиме ожидания всего до 28 градусов, а в играх и тяжелых приложениях — до 43-44 градусов под экраном по центру и столько же на днище.

Simply, if you are into battery life and solid cooling performance, the Inspiron 15 7577 definitely is the choice for you. However, if image quality is your top priority, the Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition (VN7-593G) with full-fledged GTX 1060 goes around for just about the same price. A more gaming-optimized solution is the Lenovo Legion Y720 (although with unsatisfactory image quality again). You might want to consider the Acer Predator Helios 300, which sports a more powerful GTX 1060 but fails to impress with cooling performance. But in the end, it all goes down to what you are willing to sacrifice in this segment with GTX 1060 and 1060 Max-Q laptops and to this point, the best choice is probably the HP Omen 15 (2017) with GTX 1060 Max-Q, as long as you are willing to spend a little bit extra for the almost spotless IPS display (some of them ship with 120Hz refresh rate as well).

At the end of this review, we have mixed feelings about the Dell Inspiron 15 7572. It offers a lot of good features and decent specifications, and it's quite portable for a 15-inch laptop. It runs well and should be fine for home users. However, there are some truly unfortunate design decisions including sharp metal edges and a practically useless webcam. We can't understand how these things made it through even a prototyping phase in Dell's studios. Despite being slotted into the higher-tier Inspiron 7000 series, this laptop just looks drab.

Inspiron is Dell's bread-and-butter brand, lacking the glamour of the higher-priced XPS line. Inspiron 7000 laptops, however, outrank their 3000- and 5000-series kin, making them the top of the mainstream, so to speak. The Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 ($1,359.99 as tested) has the flaw built into all 15.6-inch convertibles: namely, that it's heavy and unwieldy when folded into tablet mode. But it's an otherwise appealing machine that competes well with other big convertibles—even Dell's XPS 15 2-in-1, which has some advantages (Thunderbolt 3 ports, faster AMD-based graphics) but also costs a cool thousand bucks more as tested.

It’s a sturdy machine with a great keyboard and a gorgeous display, but a laptop costing north of $1,500 shouldn't be saddled with weak battery life, subpar trackpad, and everyday graphics issues with its 4K display. I can’t shake the feeling that a lower-resolution panel might have solved a lot of the Inspiron 15 7000 Black Edition’s problems, even if it weakened the laptop’s marketing pitch.

If you’re willing to drop an inch of screen real estate, the similarly priced IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is likely a better choice overall. That Editors’ Choice winner offers better performance for the money thanks to its AMD Ryzen processor, and it delivered longer battery life in our identical test. But if you're looking decidedly large-screen, this Dell entry will get you in the door (and get a tablet in your lap) for a bunch less money than deluxe models like the big-screen HP Spectre x360 15 or Dell's Black Edition version of this machine.

However, there are disappointing elements to the Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 Black Edition as well. The keyboard and touchpad could use a rethink, and the decision to forgo an Nvidia graphics chip and an H-series Intel processor means that the Black Edition is underpowered compared with its competitors. Most people looking for a 15-inch convertible notebook would be better served by the Spectre x360 15.

NVIDIA GeForce 940MX: Мобильная видеокарта среднего уровня на архитектуре Maxwell. В отличие от 940M теперь поддерживает память GDDR5 и работает на чуть более высоких частотах

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile: Мобильная видеокарта среднего уровня на архитектуре Nvidia Pascal, является развитием GeForce GTX 965M. Чип произведен по 14 нм техпроцессу на мощностях компании Samsung, технические характеристики очень близки к настольной версии видеокарты.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile: Мобильная видеокарта среднего уровня на базе архитектуры Nvidia Pascal. Пришла на замену GeForce GTX 960M. Изготавливается на 14 нм производстве компании Samsung и почти не отличается от своего настольного варианта.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Встраиваемый в центральные процессоры Intel Kaby Lake Refresh графический процессор (GT2, 24 вычислительных ядра). Встраивается в 15-ваттовые процессоры. Очень схож с графикой из прошлого поколения процессоров, Kaby Lake, по имени HD Graphics 620.

NVIDIA GeForce MX130: Дискретная видеокарта для ноутбуков. Относится к начальному уровню производительности, использует видеопроцессор Maxwell GM108 с 384 унифицированными шейдерами. GeForce MX130 представляет собой переименованную GeForce 940MX. Впервые мы протестировали MX130 в 2018 году.

NVIDIA GeForce MX150: Мобильная видеокарта на архитектуре Pascal, использует чип GP108, является ноутбучной версией GeForce GT 1030. Содержит 384 шейдера и 2 ГБ видеопамяти GDDR5 с 64-битной шиной. Чип производится по 14 нм техпроцессу.

NVIDIA GeForce MX250: Наследница MX150, все еще основана на чипе Pascal GP108, но обладает повышенными частотами

Intel Xe MAX: Дискретная видеокарта для ноутбуков. Относится к начальному уровню производительности, использует архитектуру Intel двенадцатого поколения, она же Xe (как у интегрированных видеопроцессоров в процессорах семейства Tiger Lake). Графические процессоры этой категории производительности способны на многое и подойдут для большинства игр, иногда даже при максимальных настройках и разрешениях. Чаще всего GPU "просто верхнего" уровня производительности расходуют заметно меньше энергии, чем самые-самые топовые и дорогие модели.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q: Энергоэффективная видеокарта для тонких и легких ноутбуков, основанная на том же чипе GP106, что и полноценная ноутбучная GTX 1060, но работает на сниженных частотах. Производительность примерно на 15% ниже, но энергопотребление ниже значительно.

6700HQ: Процессор с 4 ядрами поколения Skylake.

i7-8565U: Четырехъядерный мобильный процессор семейства Whiskey Lake (технически идентичен Kaby Lake, но произведен по дополнительно улучшенному 14 нм++ техпроцессу). Частота варъируется от 1.8 до 4.6 ГГц.

Intel Core i5:

6200U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.

6300HQ: Процессор с 4 ядрами Skylake. Ориентирован на ноутбуки. Имеет встроенный видеопроцессор HD Graphics 530, изготавливается на 14-нанометровом производстве.

Intel Kaby Lake:

i7-7500U: Kaby-Lake based SoC with two CPU cores clocked at 2.7 to 3.5 GHz, HyperThreading and manufactured with an improved 14nm process.

i7-7700HQ: Четырехъядерный мобильный процессор из семейства Kaby Lake. Кроме процессорных ядер с поддержкой Hyperthreading имеет также встроенную видеокарту HD Graphics 630. Производится по 14 нм техпроцессу.

i5-7300HQ: Процессор с 4 ядрами Kaby Lake. Ориентирован на ноутбуки, работает на частоте 2.5 ГГц - 3.5 ГГц, поддержки HT нет (она есть в более дорогих моделях Core i7). Встроенный видеопроцессор называется HD Graphics 630 и работает на частоте 350 МГц - 1000 МГц. Процессор 7300HQ изготавливается на 14-нанометровом производстве второго поколения.

Intel Kaby Lake Refresh:

i5-8550U: Энергоэффективный процессор с четырьмя ядрами архитектуры Kaby Lake Refresh. Частота ядер составляет от 1.8 до 4 ГГц (режим Turbo Boost), поддержка HyperThreading есть. Частота ГП: от 300 до 1150 МГц. Процессор изготавливается по нормам 14nm+ FinFET производства.

i5-8250U: Энергоэффективный четырехъядерный процессор семейства Kaby Lake Refresh. Ядра в работают на частоте от 1.6 до 3.4 ГГц, поддерживается многопоточность. Встроенный графический процессор работает на частоте от 300 до 1100 МГц. Изготовлена новинка по нормам 14 нм+ техпроцесса FinFET.

Intel Coffee Lake:

i5-9300H: Мобильный процессор 9 поколения Intel с частотой от 2.4 до 4.1 ГГц

i7-9750H: Мобильный процессор для мощных игровых ноутбуков. Шесть ядер способны работать на частоте от 2.6 до 4.5 ГГц

Intel Tiger Lake:

i7-1165G7: Четырёхъядерный процессор семейства Tiger Lake. Относится к среднему уровню производительности, ориентирован на тонкие ноутбуки; частота процессорных ядер при 28-ваттовом долговременном Power Limit равна 28 Вт, максимально достижимая частота при нагрузке на одно ядро = 4.7 ГГц. Встроенный графический процессор называется Iris Xe G7 (96 блоков EU). Рассматриваемый Core i7 изготавливается на 10-нанометровом производстве Intel во втором поколении и был вторым по производительности среди всех процессоров Tiger Lake подкласса UP3, когда Intel представила их в 2020 году.
