Even if you aren’t moving it, it’s still a behemoth to fit on a desk or table, and that power brick is an obstacle in itself. And if I can nitpick for just a moment, I could do without the dedicated button for Microsoft’s Copilot. I get it, integrating AI features like this is a current trend. But, I can think of at least half a dozen other shortcuts I’d want taking up 1.5 letter keys’ worth of real estate instead (even on such a big keyboard). These are minor foibles, at the end of the day, and don’t offset all the power packed into this sleek form.

I usually set up my review laptops with everything I need to get work done and also some play. The Alienware 18 Area-51 was different. This is like getting a Ferrari. I felt like this wasn’t really a laptop I should do basic work on. I mean, I don’t need to test if web browsing and email work. Just look at the specs! So I set this up to game, and I did test basic video editing. I really don’t play heavy games, and I am pretty anti-social, so I don’t get involved in online gaming. My basic gaming list is simple games that aren’t massively heavy, and this laptop just breezed through those. I am not a pixel peeper or a frame rate snob. I’m not examining the performance as closely as those of you considering buying this laptop.

Это делает RTX 5090 Laptop более похожим на настольный вариант RTX 5080 (тот же чип), чем Настольный RTX 5090 с 20 760 ядрами и более высокой тактовой частотой.
