Компанія Lenovo випустила один з найпотужніших ноутбуків на ринку, який стане гарним інструментом для професіонала. Legion 9i 18IAX10 оснащений топовим процесором, спроможним обчислювати 24 потоки, та продуктивною відеокартою з 24 Гбайт відеобуфера, що стане у пригоді в робочих застосунках. Доповнює їх колосальні 192 гігабайти пам’яті, які в наш час на вагу золота, але так необхідні для AI та рендерингу великих проєктів. Накопичувач хотілося бачити більше, бо навіть 2 Тбайт може не вистачити для великої кількості даних, але наявні ще три роз’єми M.2 дозволять збільшити дисковий простір в декілька разів. Для роботи також чудово підійде яскравий 18″ екран з роздільною здатністю WQUXGA та соковитими кольорами, хоча глянцеве покриття не кожному сподобається. Але не тільки працювати можна буде за цим лептопом — частота оновлення екрана 240 Гц та підтримка G‑Sync натякають на ігрове застосування Legion 9i 18IAX10, в чому допоможе топова відеокарта.

Overall, the Legion 9i Gen 10 is a massive 18″ desktop replacement gaming monster that you can potentially move from place to place. It’s not at all a travel machine, but being able to move it around does make it more versatile than a desktop. Specifically, I'd say it's an excellent laptop for gamers who want top-tier gaming performance, a large, impressive display, and a sleek design. Beyond that, I think most users should look elsewhere if they're hoping for an all-around desktop replacement. Some blips in everyday performance, a boxy-sounding speaker system, and no OLED display option make me feel more inclined to recommend other options for those seeking a do-it-all laptop. At a similar price point is the Razer Blade 16 (2025), for example, or the aforementioned Alienware 16 Area-51.

As for the battery life, while the 99.9Wh battery isn’t going to get you through a 12-hour session of gaming, it is in line with what I’ve seen from similar rigs. The note on battery life worth mentioning, though, is Lenovo’s Super Rapid Charge feature, which sees the battery go from 0-100% in 80 minutes, with a 30-minute charge getting you all the way to 70%. It’s the first time I’ve seen a rapid charge system at play in a premium gaming laptop, and I am impressed. While not the most powerful of this generation’s 18-inch gaming laptops, the Legion offers some of the best dollar of hardware value I’ve seen. Cheaper than all of the other models I’ve mentioned, the Legion 9i offers a similar top-tier gaming experience at a fraction of the price of the competition. While subjective, it’s also the best looking while doing it with the RGB lighting and textured cover plate being standout features.

The 2025 refresh of the Lenovo Legion 9i is arguably the best-balanced 18-inch high-performance/gaming laptop available in stores today. It's not without some quirks, but it checks almost all of the right boxes when it comes to build quality, functionality and capabilities, while generally running at lower temperatures and fan noise than the competition in its segment. It's only available with glossy IPS displays, though, and it's a heavy chassis even for its niche, so make sure you're fine with these aspects before jumping on it.
