The Oppo F27 Pro+ is not a bad phone. Not at all. But it exists in a segment where the competition is so incredibly tough. There are even other Oppo phones in this segment - such as Oppo Reno 12, which is quite close - that offer more bang for the buck. Having said that, the F27 Pro+ does offer quite a few niceties to users. The phone is robustly built and comes with class-leading water and dust resistance. Its performance is good enough as a daily driver, its battery life is fantastic and its display - although not made for 4K content - is bright and vibrant. But the camera performance lets it down and I wish it had a better chipset.

The display is also fantastic and is bright enough for outdoor usage. The battery life and the charging speed are also quite good. On top of that, the smartphone has 5G connectivity and also has Water resistance. However, that’s where the good ends. The app and gaming performance is not that great. Don’t get us wrong. The performance is decent but considering the price point the phone launched, it should have been better. Other phones in this price range over much better chipsets. Besides that, the camera performance is also not acceptable for this price. It has only a single camera on the back and the rest are gimmick.
