For the same amount, the Notebook 9 Pro gives you a 4K panel and touch capabilities. To get the same kind of screen on the Dell, you’ll have to fork over almost $2,000. That Dell does give you 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a PCIe SSD, a bigger battery, and a faster GPU. You’re still out another $500, though.

Overall, Samsung Notebook 9 NP900X5N-X01US is a great ultrabook. Its strengths lie in solid processor performance, beautiful Full HD screen and darn long battery life. It is not going to slow down before the heaviest of programs thanks to the i7 processor and (upgradeable) SSD. Also gaming to an extent works because dedicated graphics card is in place. And yes, the battery life is wonderful on this, you will be going the whole day with a single charge. All of this costs money, but if you are not ready to make compromises, this Samsung laptop is a very safe and powerful choice for quality ultrabook seekers!

If you're looking for a speedy convertible for note-taking or doodling, the Notebook 9 is a good choice. With its 8th Gen Intel CPU, 8GB of RAM, and included stylus, this 2-in-1 has a lot to offer. The port selection is great too, as it eliminates the need for dongles. While we like the fast performance and lightweight stylus, we still had a few gripes with it.

In the end, for me, the things I like about the Samsung Notebook 9 EXT 15″ outweighed the things I didn’t like. This was really a nice machine. I will say, for those who really rely on a backlit keyboard. Go check it out before you buy, the keyboard is great to type on but you really need to see the backlighting ahead of time. If that is the one thing you really need to be spot on, that may make or break your decision. It’s really something you need to test for yourself because my brightness preference may be different from yours.

And the S Pen, while surprisingly effective on a laptop, just won't be worth the premium for a lot of people. Samsung's penless 13-inch Notebook 9m -- also recently announced -- offers nearly everything this pen-packing model does for $100 less. Still, the Notebook 9 Pen has its niches: Students in need of an excellent note-taking machine will find a lot to appreciate here, as will folks who crave sheer portability. If that's not you, well, you can do better elsewhere.

Samsung:
Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.
Intel HD Graphics 520: Графический ускоритель, встраиваемый в некоторые процессоры поколения Intel Skylake.
NVIDIA GeForce 940MX: Мобильная видеокарта среднего уровня на архитектуре Maxwell. В отличие от 940M теперь поддерживает память GDDR5 и работает на чуть более высоких частотах
AMD Radeon RX 540: Видеокарта среднего класса быстродействия. Основана на архитектуре Polaris 12 и имеет 512 вычислительных ядер (8 шейдерных блоков). Максимальная частота работы - 1219 МГц. Похоже, использует тот же графический чип, что и в Radeon RX 550, и, следовательно, изготавливается по самому современному производственному процессу 14 нм FinFET.
Intel HD Graphics 620: Графический процессор Intel среднего (GT2) класса, встроенный в некоторые центральные процессоры поколения Intel Kaby Lake. Некоторые - это те, что с 15-ваттным TDP.
Intel UHD Graphics 620: Встраиваемый в центральные процессоры Intel Kaby Lake Refresh графический процессор (GT2, 24 вычислительных ядра). Встраивается в 15-ваттовые процессоры. Очень схож с графикой из прошлого поколения процессоров, Kaby Lake, по имени HD Graphics 620.

6500U: Процессор с 2 ядрами и встроенным графическим процессором HD Graphics 520. Использует архитектуру Skylake. Для 2016/2017 года обеспечивает (отличную | среднюю | посредственную) производительность в своем классе.
i7-8565U: Четырехъядерный мобильный процессор семейства Whiskey Lake (технически идентичен Kaby Lake, но произведен по дополнительно улучшенному 14 нм++ техпроцессу). Частота варъируется от 1.8 до 4.6 ГГц.
Intel Core i5:
6200U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.
Intel Kaby Lake:
i7-7500U: Kaby-Lake based SoC with two CPU cores clocked at 2.7 to 3.5 GHz, HyperThreading and manufactured with an improved 14nm process.
Intel Kaby Lake Refresh:
i5-8550U: Энергоэффективный процессор с четырьмя ядрами архитектуры Kaby Lake Refresh. Частота ядер составляет от 1.8 до 4 ГГц (режим Turbo Boost), поддержка HyperThreading есть. Частота ГП: от 300 до 1150 МГц. Процессор изготавливается по нормам 14nm+ FinFET производства.
