EN→RUThe iPhone Air is no doubt a statement device. Apple took the thin phone idea and pushed it to extremes the S25 Edge wasn't able to. Whether or not you should buy the iPhone Air depends on a couple of things. First, if thin phones are your cup of tea, then this is a no-brainer. There's no other product on the market that can rival the iPhone Air at the moment, as the S25 Edge, as thin as it is, feels much more like an ordinary phone in the hand, especially next to the Air. Second, you should be prepared to sacrifice two cameras and a loudspeaker in favor of rocking the skinniest phone on the market. If you're okay with those drawbacks, the iPhone Air could be your perfect phone, one that will turn heads for sure.

But after a week using the Air in the real world, only one bugs me enough to push me to go Pro – and it might not be the one you think.

EN→RUApple's engineers deserve accolades for cramming so much phone into such a thin design. The iPhone Air is a wonder, but I don't think it's for everyone. You can't ask for a thinner, more impressive piece of hardware, especially one with such a fantastic screen, solid performance, and powerful software. Though I miss the expanded optical zoom range of the iPhone Pro's cameras, the Air still takes excellent photos and videos as long as you don't mind a limited field of view. If you normally prefer to take selfies, the Air should be more than enough phone for you. For $200 less, however, the standard iPhone 17 is a relative bargain thanks to its much longer battery life, more flexible camera arrangement, and faster mmWave 5G support, making it the best iPhone for most people and our Editors' Choice winner.

Apple A19 Pro 5-Core GPU: Относительно быстрый графический адаптер, которым оснащен Apple A18 Pro SoC. Этот iGPU имеет 6 ядер и поддерживает RT; похоже, что он основан на той же архитектуре, что и GPU серии M4. В нашем тестировании, проведенном в октябре 2024 года, ему удалось обойти 7-ядерный графический процессор Apple M1 во многих тестах.
Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.

A19 Pro: Мощный процессор для смартфонов и официальный преемник A17 Pro. Он имеет 2 производительных ядра и 4 эффективных ядра, а также 35 TOPS NPU и 6-ядерный GPU A18 Pro. A18 Pro оставляет Dimensity 9300, а также Apple A17 Pro и Apple A18 далеко позади с преимуществом как минимум в 10% по многопоточной производительности; 6-ядерный GPU при этом обходит 7-ядерный M1 GPU во многих тестах.
