Honestly, the best thing about this laptop is not about the power it provides, but the usability it offers. Having a spill-resistant keyboard that is comfortable for typing is essential in our opinion, especially when you spend most of your day with this device. After all, accidents happen.

The highlights, according to Acer, are a 14-hour battery life, an aluminium-magnesium alloy body. Using those materials in combination with a mostly plastic skin keeps the weight down, something anyone who carries their system through a working day will appreciate. What’s genuinely impressive is how fast these systems can be when compared with much more expensive ultrabook designs, as they use similar platforms and include some special features, like Thunderbolt ports. While this has a relatively easy fix, it isn’t one that the Acer support team appears able to provide. Even with this mistake, the Travelmate P4 is one of the better cheap business laptops that we have tested and easily worth the modest asking price Acer wants for it.

EN→RUIts murky screen would normally limit the Acer TravelMate P4 to a two- or two-and-a-half-star rating, though we decided to give it three stars for its bargain price, satisfying ports, and decent performance. Plugged into a monitor via the HDMI port or a DisplayPort adapter in a USB4 port, it's a capable desktop alternative. It's also lighter for travel than many 16-inch rivals, though a candle in a garret would be better than its screen on an airliner with only an overhead lamp for illumination. This review isn't an unequivocal thumbs-down, but to be forewarned is to be forearmed.

EN→RUThe Acer TravelMate P4 (TMP413-51) is a small but capable device. This is possible thanks to the cooling solution. It looks modest but it just gets the job done even in long periods of 100% CPU load. In this case, the processor can maintain 2.16 GHz for the P cores and 1.67 GHz for the E cores. This is a respectable result for a 13-incher. Also, the chip temperature is under control and the fan is almost quiet. The keyboard is comfortable for long hours of non-stop typing because it has a long key travel and clicky feedback. The optional backlight can be handy for those who prefer to work in a dimmed environment or during the nighttime. The touchpad has a smooth surface that allows precise tracking. The 16:10 IPS display (BOE NV133WUM-N44 (BOE0C28)) is good enough for home or office usage.

Intel Tiger Lake:
i7-1165G7: Четырёхъядерный процессор семейства Tiger Lake. Относится к среднему уровню производительности, ориентирован на тонкие ноутбуки; частота процессорных ядер при 28-ваттовом долговременном Power Limit равна 28 Вт, максимально достижимая частота при нагрузке на одно ядро = 4.7 ГГц.
