It stands out a high-quality screen, a powerful and efficient 6500 mAh battery, a very good main camera with OIS, as well as stable performance and a waterproof design. The device's drawbacks include outdated UFS 2.2 memory, an annoying abundance of ads in the interface, and a mediocre wide-angle lens. Since its launch, prices have remained stable at 500-530 euro. Although users will likely be satisfied with the Note 15 Pro+, the smartphone faces stiff competition for this price. Alternatives such as the POCO F8 Pro, the Xiaomi 15T, and last year's models can offer significantly more for a similar budget. It's a good phone, which, however, lacked the final "wow effect" to firmly and without a shadow of a doubt shout: choose me!

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G is a reasonable mid-range Android phone in terms of decently zippy performance, a large and sharp OLED screen and a detailed 200MP snapper. Battery life is a strong point, too, although you can get more power and a less cluttered operating system for similar money. The likes of the Google Pixel 9a and OnePlus Nord 5 can outperform Xiaomi’s choice in terms of grunt, for instance, while Google’s own version of Android is much cleaner and easier to live with, and its camera is also a strong performer. The Nord 5 isn’t as strong on battery life as Xiaomi’s choice, though, but its OxygenOS skin is much less in your face with AI or any ads compared to HyperOS. With this in mind, there’s still a fair bit to like about the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, and it’s a cromulent Android handset for the price. Reviewing Xiaomi's Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, the most premium of the new budget-friendly smartphones with gaming-ready performance. You've also got fantastic battery life and a solid set of specs, but the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G isn't quite the perfect mid-range mobile. For one, the camera tech - while undoubtedly impressive at this price - isn't infallible. Snapping live subjects quite often results in blurry or slightly out-of-focus photos. Still, kids and pets aside, the low light camera results are certainly excellent. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G has enough grunt from the Snapdragon chipset to play games like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves. You can also expect all-day battery life, or even a full weekend of play time on a single charge. Factor in the 100W wired charging and you should never run dry. So that's my review of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G global model. I've also compared this mid-range phone vs the rest of the series, to see which is best for you!

Phones like the OnePlus Nord CE 5 offer much better performance and a cleaner software experience. If cameras matter more to you, the Nothing Phone 3a is another strong option with better software, better camera performance, and a unique design. Overall, I feel the Redmi Note 15 Pro is slightly overpriced for what it offers at Rs. 50,000.

Overall, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is a decent mid-range option. Except for some slight tweaks, it's pretty much the same phone as its predecessor. The biggest improvement is in battery life, which counts for something. But it still offers middling performance. It's also disappointing that it launched with the older HyperOS 2.0 (and without a proper AOD). It doesn't help that my 12GB+512GB review unit is priced at S$599, up from S$569 for last year's model.

It’s not like Redmi has taken a giant leap forward from the Note 14 Pro+, though. The refreshed silicon isn’t dramatically faster or more power efficient than the outgoing phone, and while the battery is bigger, it’s not as big a jump as I was expecting given rivals are already pushing 7000mAh or higher. We’ve merely had baby steps for multiple generations now, which are hard to get excited about. It’s high time Redmi steps up its software game – then maybe next year’s offering will be something to set pulses racing.

Furthermore, I can’t help but feel like the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G’s battery is a lot less efficient than it should be. The unit is backed by a 6500mAh (typ) battery that, even with fairly standard usage, only holds a charge for less than a day. Users can switch fairly easily to the Battery Saver or Ultra Battery Saver modes to really extend the phone’s life, but I was genuinely depressed when it seemed like this brand-new device had the same battery capacity as my five-year-old Note 20. But aside from some minor inconveniences, I was seriously impressed with the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the big three mobile brands. At $499 USD (roughly $700 CAD) its a genuinely solid phone for a reasonably affordable price. Its serious power, impressive camera and solid functionality make it a worthwhile pocket companion. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G smartphone combines peak performance with a sleek design for a seriously impressive mobile device.

I’ve said this many times before, and I’ll say it again. With smartphone prices rising in 2026, new phones simply don’t offer the same value for money as they used to. The Redmi Note 15 4G and 5G are premium-looking smartphones that deliver a solid multimedia experience. Social media usage, video streaming, and everyday tasks work smoothly without major issues. If that’s all you need, the 4G variant makes more sense to me. The performance difference between the 4G and 5G models is minimal; the camera on the 5G variant is not significantly better, and overall, the 4G version feels like the better value. That said, Redmi really needs to fix the camera performance through software updates on both phones. Since neither of these phones is aimed at serious competitive gaming, I would suggest looking at the Infinix GT 30 if you want better gaming performance under NPR 40,000. And if camera quality is your top priority, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is a better option in my opinion.

If 5G isn't important to you — and honestly, it probably isn’t — this phone is a solid budget pick. We wouldn't advise buying it at full price, though, as price drops are likely within the next couple of months. The main downside is video quality, but that's a common limitation in this price range. Some competitors offer an ultra-wide camera, though usually a pretty average one. This phone skips the ultra-wide entirely, which I'm actually fine with. And while it's not aimed at people chasing top-tier camera performance, the Redmi clearly outclasses Moto G models in display quality and beats the Galaxy A17 in raw performance. Samsung still has a slight edge in camera quality overall — at least in my view.

While official pricing has not yet been confirmed, the Redmi Note 14 launched at around $200 US, and a significant increase is not expected this year. At that price, the Redmi Note 15 delivers mid-range performance at a budget-friendly cost. Most of my complaints are easy to overlook given the value on offer, unless you specifically need a high-end camera for video work. Outside of that use case, the Redmi Note 15 consistently outperforms what its price suggests, combining strong optimization with excellent battery life. For a base model, the Redmi Note 15 performs well, lasts a long time and costs little, and while the camera will not thrill content creators, the rest of the phone consistently impressed and pleasantly surprised me.

The cameras are surprisingly capable as well. The 200MP main sensor and 8MP ultrawide lens capture vibrant, detailed shots, and the selfie camera works well for social media and video calls. While it lacks a telephoto lens or wireless charging, and the software still has some quirks, these are minor trade‑offs considering what you’re getting.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is exactly what you'd expect from a "middle-ground" Redmi Note - a sensible, polished package that does a lot of things right without trying to reinvent the wheel. There is an excellent 6.83-inch 12-bit AMOLED with Dolby Vision/HDR10+ support and proper Widevine L1, and it even gets seriously bright in our tests. The new flat design feels modern, is easy to protect with a screen protector, and the phone is sturdier than ever with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 up front and that impressive IP68/IP69K rating. Battery life is another strong point - the 6,580mAh Si/C cell delivered a very respectable ~15.5h Active Use Score, and the 45W charging is perfectly adequate.

An impressive 200Mp camera, superb battery life and a bright, vivid display are the highlights, while the performance is more than up to scratch. But it is balanced by a few notable compromises where other Chinese manufacturers perform better, with regard to design, software, and screen. Another coat of polish could see this phone step up from good to great, but right now, there is still a way to go.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся лишь с самыми простыми играми, больше подходя для простых дел - просмотра видео в Сети и обработки документов. Плюсом можно считать скромный нагрев и расход энергии.

Qualcomm Adreno 810:

Qualcomm Adreno 710: Графический чип для смартфонов и планшетов, интегрированный в SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. По данным Qualcomm, он в 2 раза быстрее, чем старый Adreno 644 в Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

ARM Mali-G615 MP2: Графический чип среднего уровня для смартфонов с 2 из 6 возможных ядер. Основан на четвертом поколении архитектуры Valhall. Предлагает затенение с переменной скоростью.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности практически не подходят дли игр, но справятся с самыми простыми делами, вроде отображения 2D-материала на экране умеренного разрешения.
