OPPO Pad Air — стильный, компактный и доступный планшет, который стоит, чтобы обратить на него внимание. Модель получила хороший, для своего сегмента экран, адекватное время автономной работы, громкое стереозвучание, поддержку Dolby Atmos. Не всех устроит количество оперативной и постоянной памяти, но она здесь быстрая, а еще можно добавить виртуальную ОЗУ или вставить карту памяти. Также не всем понравится отсутствие аудиоразъема 3,5 мм, но для других это будет плюсом. Также есть посредственная камера, которая вполне нормальна для планшетов. В общем, OPPO Pad Air производит хорошее впечатление, имеет хорошее соотношение цена/возможности, подойдет как взрослым для развлечений и работы, так и школьникам, подросткам или студентам для игр и обучения.

It’s an affordable device for handing off to kids or a tech-savvy grandparent, but with sub-par multi-tasking performance, there’s always a chance you’ll grow frustrated by its compromises. It’s a light browsing and entertainment device for a certain generation, and maybe an affordable smart home hub for others, but it’s little more than that. At its full £240 price point, it creeps too close to a refurbished 2021 iPad to be recommended.

Not everyone needs or wants a tablet so the short answer is yes, provided you’re not a heavy user who expects a productivity tool. For the price, OPPO has delivered a device that home users are going to be delighted with. It’s a good looking device that has a really nice screen and easily delivers on the basic functionality a tablet should offer. The Pad Air is a really impressive first shot into the tablet market by OPPO which I’d happily recommend to the right users. Personally, I’d pay another $100 to $200 for a bit more grunt and an a touch more polish, which will undoubtedly come with time and another generation or two evolution.

The Oppo Pad Air is an excellent full-sized budget tablet that matches its key rival, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, in a number ways and tops it in others. Its design feels every bit as accomplished, with a sturdy all-metal body and quad stereo speakers. However, its IPS LCD display is sharper and of superior quality, making everything from media playback to web surfing and gaming look and feel better on Oppo’s tablet. Performance is fairly mediocre, but it’s perfectly up to the casual tasks that you’ll be requiring of the Pad Air. Battery life is strong, and the Oppo Pad Air has the impressive ability to sip the juice while not in use, making it a reliable tablet to have to hand for occasional use. If you have less than £250 to spend on your next tablet, the Oppo Pad Air will do the job with a fair amount of poise.

Considering its low price, I'm hugely impressed by the Oppo Pad Air. For starters, its physical design is quite beautiful, and makes it feel like a premium product. The high-resolution screen delivers a gorgeous, detailed picture, with good quality speakers to match. And while the processor isn't the fastest, some clever interface features make multitasking a responsive and flexible experience. There are some clear limitations here. The most obvious the lack of audio jack, so anyone wanting to watch movies on long journeys will need to have an alternative to ordinary wired headphones. If you want to use a tablet for photo or video editing, or are keen gamer, you'll want to look elsewhere. And you prefer to use a cellular connection to Wi-Fi, for whatever reason, then this isn't the tablet for you either. But if those aren't deal-breakers, this tablet has a lot to offer for a low price. If you're primarily seeking a tablet for watching video, listening to music and/or day-to-day tasks such as checking emails, surfing the web, checking social media and using apps, the Oppo Pad Air offers excellent value.

The display has a contrast shift at an angle, and it's 60Hz only; the camera image quality is appalling, battery life is below average, and even the charging speed isn't competitive. The set of four speakers failed to impress as well. On the other hand, the build quality is nice; it has a microSD card slot, performance is mostly on par with the competition, it's lightweight, and it has capable software with some advanced multitasking functionalities. Unfortunately, it's hard to recommend the tablet at the current price. At INR17,000 in India, it's a direct competitor to the Redmi Pad and it's a much better choice. At €300 in Europe for 4/64GB, it's downright expensive as there is a small gap within reach of the Xiaomi Pad 5, which is a device in a whole different market segment. Not to mention the older Realme Pad, which at least as good and costs a lot less.

After spending some time using the device, I can say that if you are working from home and looking to buy a decent tablet for work at a budget, the Oppo Pad Air is a good option to consider. The Pad Air offers a good display, great sound quality and a sleek design. While Oppo gets most of it right, there are certain areas for improvement as well. One of the few things that might disappoint you is the absence of a headphone jack. However, if you have Bluetooth earbuds handy, it shouldn’t be much of an issue. Now, most tablets at this price point aren’t really fit for heavy gaming, similar is the case with the Oppo Pad Air. The device just about manages basic games well. Now, if you are looking for a tablet for gaming, you need to have a higher budget as well. Overall, if you are looking to buy a decent Android tablet, you can go for the Oppo Pad Air without putting much thought into it. Notably, the company is selling the keyboard and stylus separately, which means you will need to spend extra on them.

This brings me to the end of this review. So, should you buy the Oppo Pad Air? To answer this, let’s look at the competition first. For a thousand bucks more, you can get the Realme Pad with better performance and an LTE option. But there are no tablet-specific software tweaks here. The same drawback was on the Moto Tab G70 that I reviewed earlier. And I expect the same with the newly launched Moto G62 LTE, which otherwise is very similar to the Pad Air. Then we have the Galaxy Tab A8. Samsung’s experience in making tablets and foldables is reflected well here but the specs it offers are not competitive enough for the price. In my opinion, Oppo Pad Air is the middle ground. It is not a perfect tablet, I mean, it is hard to be at this particular price point. However, it has a decent set of specs and complementary software as well. Unless, if you expect hardcore gaming and multi-tasking, which you should not do with a budget tablet, it will fare you well, especially for school work and multimedia.

If you are willing to shell out a bit more money, Lenovo's Yoga Tab 11 (Review) offers a much better design with a built-in kickstand, and is built for entertainment with very good speakers that are loud enough to fill a small room.

At the beginning of the article, I’ve noted that the OPPO Pad 2 is a worthy competitor for tablets on the market today. However, I believe that the tablet was made without the idea of competition in mind. To elaborate, the OPPO Pad 2 resembles somewhat of the brand’s character development arc. Instead of looking at others, OPPO did some introspection from a designer perspective. They’re trying to improve with their own unique take on user experience through software and accessories catered to productivity—supported by the ongoing and developing OPPO ecosystem. As I recall the first few impressions I’ve had on the OPPO Pad 2, I couldn’t help but recognize its thoughtful and progressive design. Albeit it does kind of sting to have to shell out a bit more just to have their accessories in tow (and Bluetooth earbuds to boot), it’s quite exciting as a tech reviewer to see developments and innovations from different brands.

The Oppo Pad 2 was announced in March 2023 with the expected price of the tablet being roughly $440 (Rs 36,090 in India) approx. The Oppo Pad 2 comes with a tall 11.61-inch IPS LCD display panel with 1B colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and 500 nits brightness rating. The device runs on the latest Android 12 OS supported by ColorOS 13.1 user interface and will be available in 8GB to 12GB RAM with 256GB to 512GB internal storage. Under the hood, you will attain the 4nm – Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chipset and Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo Pad 2 has a single 13MP camera on the rear. On the front side, an 8MP selfie camera is available for clicking decent selfies. As for video recording, you will be able to record 4K videos with proper video stabilization by the main camera setup. Alongside this, you will receive necessary comms and sensors such as Wifi, Bluetooth, OTG, and a USB Type C port. Furthermore, the tablet holds a Li-Po 9510 mAh battery capacity accompanied by 67W wired charging support. You can purchase this tablet in Grey and Gold shade options. The device has no sim connectivity and also missing a fingerprint scanner.

OPPO Pad Neo — универсальный современный планшет в металлическом корпусе с ярким дизайном, увеличенным детализированным дисплеем, мощным звучанием от четырех динамиков с поддержкой Dolby Atmos и популярных кодеков. Новинка получила адекватное соотношение цена/качество/возможности, вариант с LTE, GPS-модуль, хорошую автономность с быстрой зарядкой и замечательное время работы в режиме ожидания. Также имеем непонятно выпяченную большую камеру, которая все одного снимает посредственно, уязвимый к царапинам корпус с глянцевой частью и минимальный комплект поставки без пленки на экран и даже блока питания. Если вам нужна универсальная мультимедийная станция, на которой также удобно читать книги и просматривать сайты, то обратите внимание на OPPO Pad Neo.

As a content consuming device, the OPPO Pad Neo truly its great. It has superb battery life, a rich and detailed display, and a pleasing UI that brings the entertainment experience all together. The problem we have, however, is that it is not well positioned as a device that can be used for work too, which at R6 999, a tablet like this, really should. The fact that OPPO seemingly sells no branded accessories to pair with the Pad Neo is rather telling too, as there is no protective cover in the box, and seemingly no options we can spot online either. Added to this is the fact that it can be paired via Bluetooth to a keyboard, but seemingly has not been optimised for such an experience. Perhaps we are asking more from the OPPO Pad Neo than we should, but if a great smartphone is required to enhance your ability to both work and play, the same should hold true of a great tablet. As such, the OPPO Pad Neo is only successful on the play aspect, and not the work one.

Overall, the OPPO Pad Neo is a great budget tablet for those who just need one to be productive outdoors, but don’t want to spend too much money on a high-end tablet. At the price of PHP 15,999, it does offer great value for money since it can play most games, has a decent display, and more than adequate speakers. Most importantly, the Pad Neo can help you get work done. If you have an extra SIM lying around, you can even have it connected to LTE, and not be dependent on WiFi. It also has stylus support for those who want to draw or be creative. In addition, you also have the useful features of ColorOS 13.2. The only downside is that the screen isn’t exactly the best. With only 400 nits of brightness to work with, you might have a hard time seeing things especially when it’s really sunny outside. The 90Hz refresh rate might also be a factor for some. Not to mention, you don’t have the best cameras either.

For the price of RM1,399 – it’s one of the better entry-level tablets that money can buy now. But that is only if we look at this tablet in isolation. If we consider all the tablets that we have in the market right now, then the Xiaomi Pad 6 at the same price of RM1,399 with much, much better specs and screen. I know MIUI is bad in comparison, but for the same price – I still think the Xiaomi Pad 6 is a better deal.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.

Qualcomm Adreno 650: Мобильная ARM-графика высокого уровня, входит в состав чипсета Qualcomm Snapdragon 865

ARM Mali-G710 MP10: ARM Mali-G710MC10 - это интегрированная видеокарта высокого класса для смартфонов с 10 из 16 возможных ядер. Она основана на третьем поколении архитектуры Valhall от ARM, которая обеспечивает на 20% более высокую производительность и энергоэффективность по сравнению с предыдущим поколением. В Dimensity 9000 G710 производится по современному 4-нм техпроцессу.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности практически не подходят дли игр, но справятся с самыми простыми делами, вроде отображения 2D-материала на экране умеренного разрешения.
