The Yoga Slim 7x Gen 9 is a thin and portable machine. It feels amazingly responsive for daily tasks thanks to the high clocks of the Snapdragon processor and the fast SAMSUNG PM9C1a SSD. Because of the capable cooling with a dual-fan design, the comfort under load is on point. The keyboard doesn’t get hot during heavy loads and the fans are also quiet. Neat! The keyboard with its long key travel is for the typists out there and the large touchpad is accurate. That’s a laptop with a Qualcomm SoC and yes, the upgradability isn’t among its advantages. You can change the battery and the SSD, that’s all. The removal of the bottom plate seems easy which is handy when you want to clean the internals.

It also offers up some brisk performance and fantastic efficiency with the Snapdragon X Elite, while the rest of the spec sheet is also solid for the price, especially with the addition of a speedy 1TB SSD. The Cosmic Blue aluminium chassis also looks the part too, and helps the Yoga Slim 7x Gen 9 to be especially portable and lightweight. Where the Yoga Slim 7x Gen 9 falls down against the likes of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 is on smaller points such as a lacking port selection and thinner-sounding speakers.

The picture-perfect 600-nit HDR OLED display and rich sound system are a joy to use. Add the Yoga Slim 7x’s good looks and ergonomics and 19-hour battery life and the $1,200 (or less) laptop is a proper MacBook-killer. The largest concern when testing the Slim 7x was software compatibility issues since the Snapdragon X Elite processor uses a different architecture than Intel and AMD processors. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x Gen 11 is the first Windows laptop in a long time that I’d recommend without a mile-long list of caveats. Starting at $1,099 and with the review configuration at $1,699, this is one of the best values in the ultraportable space right now. You’re getting an OLED display, a quality keyboard, all-day (or in my case, multi-day) battery life, a Snapdragon X2 Elite chip that finally delivers on what Qualcomm promised back in 2024, and a build quality that, while not quite MacBook Air territory, is still very good. Is it perfect? No. The bottom panel feels a little less rigid than I’d like. The keyboard deck has a touch of flex. The trackpad still isn’t quite as good as Apple’s. If you’re a writer, a journalist, a student, a content creator, or anyone who spends most of their day in a browser, in Office, in Slack, and in a handful of creative apps, this is your laptop. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x Gen 11 is a great all-around laptop with few flaws, so it's easy to say you should buy it if you just want an excellent device. The only drawback to buying Snapdragon right now is that Intel does still have better graphics, although I'd argue that if you were focused on graphics-intensive loads like gaming or video editing, you're probably buying something beefier anyway. Also, Intel isn't really competing when it comes to NPUs, focusing on graphics performance for on-device AI instead. One other thing to note about the Slim 7x is that it's not too pricey. We just saw Microsoft's Surface devices get dramatic price increases due to RAM shortages, and with a specced out Slim 7x coming in at $1,599, I don't think you can beat it.

You might have a personal issue with Windows on ARM, but for my workflow, it's no problem at all. Combine this power and efficiency with a high-end build quality, premium features like Human Presence Detection, quad speakers, 9.2MP camera, and OLED display, and you have a lot of PC for the asking price. It's not perfect — the glossy display finish can be annoying and the FHD+ model's 60Hz refresh rate is a drag — but these are fairly easy to remedy with a $60 upgrade to a brighter 2.8K display at 120Hz. The Slim 7x (Gen 11) is a laptop I can see fitting in perfectly with students, home business pros, and casual users who simply want a laptop for around $1,199 (even less when it's on sale) that feels like it should cost a lot more.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.
Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: Интегрированный графический адаптер, которым оснащены некоторые процессоры Snapdragon X Elite и X Plus. Adreno не поддерживает мониторы SUHD 4320p, а что касается производительности, то он не намного быстрее устаревшего iGPU Intel Iris Xe с 96 ЕС.
