ASUS has once again created a no-compromise laptop. It won’t come cheap, but it can do everything it’s meant to – if not even more. The SD card slot makes it extremely easy for photographers to step into work right in, while the display is an absolute beauty. ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED (UX7602)’s 4K OLED panel has comfortable viewing angles, super quick pixel response times, and a practically infinite contrast ratio. This leads to true blacks, which really make the image pop. What also helps, in this case, is the full sRGB and DCI-P3 coverage. Its default settings produce a really accurate image in terms of the aforementioned color standards. Not only that, but the “MyASUS” app offers a ton of control over your display, which is nice. Our configuration was equipped with the Core i9-12900H, and an RTX 3060 with 95W of TGP. It is amazing in terms of performance. However, we have to mention that Intel’s 13th Gen CPUs, and NVIDIA’s RTX 4000 GPUs are right around the corner. And ASUS confirms that it will sell this very laptop with both of the newcomers in the near future.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro 16X OLED genuinely has the ability to make them switch. I did show the laptop to one of my friends and he was in awe of the display and audio quality on the ZenBook Pro. Pricing plays a key role here and the laptop’s hefty starting cost of Rs 2,49,990 can put a big dent in your wallet. However, when compared to the MacBook Pro 16-inch with the M1 Pro chipset, you are getting a much better deal in just about every aspect of a laptop experience, except perhaps the battery life. The ZenBook Pro 16X OLED has all the elements to make it the portable creative machine of choice for most use cases.

That isn’t too far off ASUS’ claim, and should be sufficient to last users through an 8-hour workday. At S$4,999, the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED can be quite the investment, but it’s one that pays off handsomely several times over. The laptop is a powerful machine for both work and play, topped off with the graceful flourish of a modest, hardy design, beautiful visuals, smooth performance, and excellent cooling. I’m a massive fan of this Zenbook Pro 16X OLED with its gorgeous 16-inch display. However, at $2,469, the ZenBook Pro 16X is a bit hard to recommend over the MacBook Pro 16-inch M2 Pro. While you lose the 4K display and some of the unique features like the dial and the magically appearing number pad, the raw performance and endless battery life of the MacBook Pro 16 are certainly going to sway any creatives that need to work away from an outlet for more than a few hours at a time. However, if you’re a Windows fan and that big beautiful 4k display and the feature-rich hardware are drawing you in, the Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is an outstanding option; just maybe try to find it on sale.

The Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is a creator’s laptop that gamers will love. It has a 3.2K 120Hz OLED display (a feature missing from most 2023 gaming laptops) and an Intel Core i9 with NVIDIA RTX 4080 graphics.. Unlike some mobile workstations and creator machines for creatives, this one has looks worthy of the price tag with a slim CNC 6000 series aluminum body, and per key RGB keyboard (that does the Asus elevation thing for cooling). Thunderbolt 4, vapor chamber cooling with Liquid Metal and a full size SD card slot are standard. The display supports touch and the included Asus Pen 2.0.
