Two things about the Special Edition annoyed me. The touchpad was especially sensitive to taps--so much so, that I disabled the feature. Some might like the heightened level of sensitivity but not me. The Inspiron 13, like other 2-in-1 designs, moves the power button to the side and makes it as tiny as can be. I’m of the belief that power buttons should be obvious, large, and situated on the keyboard deck. End of story.

It's hard to argue with that formula and what you get for the price. Взвесив все за и против, можно однозначно сказать – Dell Inspiron 13 5368 представляет собой хороший выбор в качестве не основного устройства, а для путешествий или студентов. Хорошо сбалансированная ценовая политика компании-производителя в данном случае очень выгодна покупателю. Конечно, в данном лэптопе-трансформере есть несколько пунктов, по которым можно придраться: не слишком радующий уровнем яркости дисплей, минимальный объем ОЗУ, да и емкости SSD хотелось бы побольше. Внешне, это вполне симпатичный аппарат с востребованной функцией трансформации, хорошей сборкой и удобной клавиатурой. Средняя автономность и базовый набор портов свидетельствуют, что перед нами недорогой, но уверенный в себе пример рабочей лошадки за чуть более $680.

Ultimately, the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 2-in-1 shares many of the same flaws as its nearest competitor, the 14.1in Lenovo Yoga 700. They’re both fast, but neither has a great display or battery life. Overall, the Yoga 700 just about comes out on top, as its screen is marginally more colour accurate and it’s significantly lighter at 1.6kg.

Down sides include that the screen isn’t as colourful as the best and that the casing is made of plastic rather than something fancy like aluminium or a magnesium alloy. Oddly enough, though, it actually fits in well among its more stylish peers.

Putting the non-working trackpad to one side, the Inspiron 13 5000 is a good value laptop for someone on a budget. We recommend it for high school or university students. You get a lot of computer for your money, performance is good and the 2-in–1 versatility can be handy at times. Just remind yourself it’s not a lightweight as a detachable.

There are, however, better options than either of Dell’s 13-inch convertibles. Each costs considerably more, but we like the HP Spectre x360 13 and the Lenovo Yoga 920 best among 13-inch 2-in-1 convertibles. Новый трансформер от Dell совсем не порадовал, по крайней мере в той конфигурации, что мы тестировали. Новый 13-дюймовый ноутбук от Dell отлично смотрится в своем тонком корпусе, но несмотря на кажущуюся хрупкость, переход на Whiskey Lake должен принести прирост производительности в сравнении с предшественниками. Также у 7380 имеется NVMe SSD на борту, вместе с двухканальной ОЗУ и IPS 1080p дисплеем. Тем не менее, Dell продолжают комплектовать данную серию батареями с малой емкостью. Давайте выясним, как этот компактный ноутбук справится с нашими тестами.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности практически не подходят дли игр, но справятся с самыми простыми делами, вроде отображения 2D-материала на экране умеренного разрешения.
ATI Radeon HD 4225:
Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся лишь с самыми простыми играми, больше подходя для простых дел - просмотра видео в Сети и обработки документов. Плюсом можно считать скромный нагрев и расход энергии.
Intel HD Graphics 4400: Низковольтная видеокарта класса GT2 с 20 исполнительными устройствами, встроенная в некоторые процессоры Intel семейства Haswell.
Intel HD Graphics 5500:
Графический ускоритель класса GT2, встроенный в большинство процессоров Intel Core серии Broadwell-U с TDP в 15 Вт.
Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.
Intel HD Graphics 520: Графический ускоритель, встраиваемый в некоторые процессоры поколения Intel Skylake.
Intel HD Graphics 620: Графический процессор Intel среднего (GT2) класса, встроенный в некоторые центральные процессоры поколения Intel Kaby Lake. Некоторые - это те, что с 15-ваттным TDP.
