But as many famously excellent models appear to be creeping up in price each year, I think the Envy x360 15, and the Envy line as a whole, is a good reminder: you don’t need to follow them there. There’s still great stuff right here.

It's on the heavier side though, and using it in tablet mode isn't the most comfortable experience we've had with a 2-in-1, but the positives far outweigh these points for us. Some might disagree though, and we certainly wouldn't blame them.

It’s a very good deal starting at $659 with an aluminum chassis, color calibrated full HD IPS display, fingerprint scanner and upgradable internals (though HP describes it as non-user upgradable, we show you how). The laptop is aimed at creative consumers looking to do photo editing and drawing along with the usual productivity tasks. HP does also offer it with Intel 11th gen Tiger Lake CPUs and up to a 4K display.

AMD Vega 8: Встроенная графика в процессорах AMD Ryzen, содержит 8 вычислительных блоков (512 шейдеров)
AMD Vega 7: Видеопроцессор, встроенный в некоторые мобильные процессоры Ryzen 4000. Имеет 448 ядер в 7 кластерах. Работает на частоте до 1600 МГц.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs: Видеопроцессор, встраиваемый в некоторые процессоры Intel семейства Tiger Lake. Задействует новую архитектуру 12 поколения, располагает 96 кластерами унифицированных шейдеров. Максимальная частота разная в зависимости от конкретного ЦП. Изготавливается Xe Graphics G7 на 10-нанометровом производстве Intel во втором поколении.
Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Видеопроцессор, встраиваемый в некоторые процессоры Intel семейства Tiger Lake. Задействует графическую архитектуру Intel двенадцатого поколения, она же Xe. Располагает 80 кластерами унифицированных шейдеров (EU). Тактовая частота зависит от конкретной модели ЦП. Изготавливается на 10-нанометровом производстве Intel в его втором поколении.
Графические процессоры этой категории производительности способны на многое и подойдут для большинства игр, иногда даже при максимальных настройках и разрешениях. Чаще всего GPU "просто верхнего" уровня производительности расходуют заметно меньше энергии, чем самые-самые топовые и дорогие модели.

AMD Lucienne (Zen 2, Ryzen 5000):
R5 5500U: Шестиядерный процессор средне-верхнего уровня производительности. Ориентирован на тонкие ноутбуки, задействует архитектуру Zen 2, процессорные ядра работают с частотой от 2.1 ГГц до 4.0 ГГц, есть встроенный графический адаптер под названием Vega 7. Хотя Ryzen 5 5500U входит в пятитысячную серию процессоров AMD, разработанных для ноутбуков, характеристики его очень напоминают нам про Ryzen 5 4600U. Главное заметное на глаз отличие - чуть более мощный графический процессор, Vega 7 на месте Vega 6.
Intel Alder Lake-P:
i7-1260P: Процессор для тонких ноутбуков с активным охлаждением. Располагает 4 производительными и 8 экономными ядрами с частотой работы в пределах 1.5...4.7 ГГц. Входит в семейство Alder Lake, подкласс P, номинальное энергопотребление = 28 ватт, максимальное = 64 ватта. Функции vPro поддерживаются на уровне "Essentials" (без возможности дистанционного управления ноутбуком). Встроенный графический адаптер, Iris Xe с 96 блоками EU, остался тем же, что был в предшествующих процессорах (Tiger Lake UP3).
i5-1240P: Процессор среднего уровня для тонких (но активно охлаждаемых) ноутбуков. Входит в семейство Alder Lake, располагает 4 производительными ядрами и 8 экономными ядрами, первые поддерживают Hyper-Threading, вторые эту функцию не поддерживают, в сумме = 16 потоков. Процессорные ядра работают с частотой 1.2...4.4 ГГц; есть встроенный графический процессор, Iris Xe с 80 блоками EU, и поддержка функций vPro уровня "Essentials".
AMD Cezanne (Zen 3, Ryzen 5000):
Intel Alder Lake-M:

Самый обычный вес для современного ноутбука с экраном от 13 до 16 дюймов, как правило, без дискретной видеокарты.
1.86 килог.:
Нормальный вес ноутбука с экраном диагональю от 14 до 17 дюймов.
75.4%: Посредственный товар. Его недостатки слишком значительны, а цена слишком велика на фоне того, что предлагается потенциальному покупателю взамен. Если есть возможность, лучше поискать более удачный вариант.
