Продажи Samsung Galaxy A52 стартовали с отметки 26 990 рублей за версию 4/128 ГБ и 32 990 рублей за вариант с 8/256 ГБ памяти. Многочисленные конкуренты из Китая, помощнее и с таким же объемом памяти, стоят дешевле. Зато в Galaxy A52 есть защита от воды и пыли, что большая редкость, отличный дисплей, основная камера с оптической стабилизацией, стереодинамики и практичный корпус с тонкими рамками и интересным оформлением блока камер. Даже разъем 3.5 мм и FM-радио остались. Разочаровывают лишь совмещенный лоток для карточек и не самые быстрые методы разблокировки.

The Google Pixel 4a 5G remains the better choice for the money, assuming you want 5G in your Android handset. Stepping down to the Nord N10 5G is probably only worth it if you're on a very tight budget. If you're very interested in the A52 5G's high refresh rate or its main camera, though, those are good enough reasons to go for this over the more well-rounded competition.

Samsung can make the Galaxy A52 5G an attractive offer by applying a price cut as it has done in some markets. In most places, however, you are better off spending your money elsewhere.

For the most part, Samsung pulled the right strings in making the A52 an excellent midrange device; the screen is large, vibrant, and snappy, the battery life is just plain incredible, and the camera delivers sufficient quality that rounds out this phone's experience. The main competitor of this phone isn't from another brand, but from Samsung itself. The Galaxy A52 exists in a space where you can still pick up the S20 FE, and if the rumors are true, Samsung is set to release the Galaxy S21 FE later this summer, and the price difference between the S20 FE and the A52 is marginally thin, especially if you consider the promotions Samsung and its carriers run all year-round.

As with any phone, even a good one, not everything is roses and sunshine. The in-screen fingerprint reader is so annoying to use that I preferred to enter my PIN to unlock the phone. The mediocre macro camera seems like a frivolous add-on that is only there to boost the total number of cameras on the phone. More is definitely not better. There are many duplicate apps like Samsung's version of an internet browser and photo gallery app in addition to the ones from Google. But after two months, when I step back and consider everything, the Galaxy A52 5G is an all-around good phone with some great features and a few minor and annoying flaws. It's a solid buy for $500, but as I write this review, you can get a Galaxy A52 5G unlocked on Samsung's website for $425, which makes it even harder to pass up.

I didn’t find much to complain about with the Galaxy A52 5G. The build quality could be better, and I would have preferred a telephoto lens over the nearly-useless 5MP macro. Samsung’s software also remains as polarizing as ever — while some (like me) generally prefer One UI over stock Android, it’s definitely not a perfect experience. The abundance of features can feel overwhelming, and the advertisements in system applications like Samsung Pay and Weather are still inexcusable. Overall, the Galaxy A52 5G is one of the strongest budget phones we’ve seen yet out of Samsung, especially in the United States. It’s a great package for the typical price of $500, and if you can get it on sale, that’s even better.

Samsung's Galaxy A52 5G really shows how far mid-range Android phones have come. It has a great screen, decent, cameras, all-day battery life, and pretty snappy performance. The problem is that at $500, it has a lot of competition, including from Samsung itself. The S20 FE can be found new for $599, or with a discount or trade-in for as low as $399, and it has a better screen, processor, and camera setup. Add in some great phones from OnePlus in a similar range, and even the iPhone 11 for around the same price, and while the A52 5G is good, that might not be enough.
