Motorola Moto G8 Plus представлен в одной модификации — 4/64 ГБ оперативной и постоянной памяти. Из них пользователю доступны соответственно 3,64 и 49.7 ГБ. Хранилище неплохое, но с такой камерой и съемкой 4К видео можно забить и такие объемы, к тому же тип памяти не самый шустрый — eMMC 5.1, хотя на мой взгляд это более чем адекватно для смартфона. Как бы то ни было, с помощью карты памяти формата microSD можно добавить до 512 ГБ или просто хранить файлы в облаке.

It’s a shame it can’t be used to capture photos as well. While it is too early to form an opinion on battery life, recent Motorola phones have done well here and the 4,000mAh battery should definitely help with all-day usage. Add to that the reasonably good performance and near-stock build of Android, and you are looking at a solid entry into the mid-range space.

К сильным сторонам отнесем дисплей с высокой яркостью, 4 и 64 Гбайт памяти, платформу Qualcomm, хорошие показатели автономной работы, систему камер из трех модулей. Не устроить могут отсутствие NFC и поддержки Wi-Fi 5ГГц. Впрочем далеко не всем нужен NFC. Многие покупают телефон с этой функцией и все равно не пользуются ей.

There’s a lot to be said for a phone that does the job. The G8 looks decent, has enough power to get you through a full day without stutters, and packs a seriously respectable camera for the price. Is the G8 perfect? No. At night, its camera crumbles, like most phones in its price range, and it also misses out on NFC. What’s more, for £10 more, you could pick up the battery-tastic Realme 6i. The Moto G8 is certainly a device worth considering if you’re on a £200 budget. However, I reckon it would be worth saving a little more for the Motorola G8 Power. This handset has a handy extra camera, a much larger battery, and a markedly better screen, while the price is not drastically higher. The Motorola G8 is a good phone for this price point, delivering a strong processor, a large screen and a reliable camera. However, the camera isn’t as versatile as I would have liked, and the screen quality is fairly lacking.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности практически не подходят дли игр, но справятся с самыми простыми делами, вроде отображения 2D-материала на экране умеренного разрешения.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Мобильная ARM графика, встроена в чипсете Snapdragon 665.
