Перед нами — классический субфлагман во плоти. Без беспроводной зарядки и с урезанными камерами по сравнению с Ultra-версией, но с классным экраном и не менее классной производительностью. И, конечно, стильным дизайном, который действительно порадовал (всем, кроме скользкого корпуса). Как по мне, смартфон заслуживает внимания — но только если вы готовы на некоторые компромиссы. Если не готовы, вам прописан POCO F7 Ultra или другой флагманский аппарат. Единственное, чего лично мне ну очень не хватило — поддержки eSIM, которая нередко встречается в смартфонах даже классом ниже. Но ее нет даже в Ultra-версии. И если там это железобетонный косяк, то здесь в целом можно смириться.

If you want something that offers a good array of features – not just camera wise – then the Poco F7 Pro is a good choice. The camera performs well too, but you also get a large bright screen, impressive battery life and even 8K video recording should you need it. Of course it’s not perfect. There’s no dedicated macro mode, low light shooting isn’t amazing, and there’s no telephoto lens. Still, for the price paid the results are pretty good. Probably the biggest downside here is the lack of availability in some big territories, such as the US – but if you’re in one of the places where this sells, it’s well worth a look.

Personally, I’d take a slightly lower-powered phone with a more balanced feature set and cleaner, less bloaty software. But for the right person, this might just be the dream £500 phone.

At the end of the day, the price tag is the main drawback of this model. At 599 euros (just 100 down from the Ultra model), the sacrifices are too many to justify the cost. You can get a OnePlus 13R or wait for the upcoming Pixel 9a and probably get a better bang for your bucks.

I miss the days when Poco phones were different, and not another Xiaomi phone (but with round icons instead of square ones). Thankfully, the Poco F7 Pro remains a “flagship killer” like previous models, especially at its retail price (S$669 for 256GB and S$729 for 512GB). You get good performance with some flagship niceties at an attractive price. But the battery stamina is the highlight here. Get it now from Shopee and Lazada. Those who order before April 9 can get S$30 off, and either the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro or the Redmi Buds 5 Pro as free gifts.

The Poco F7 Pro is, once again, a flagship killer in the truest sense. It doesn’t try to do everything – but what it does, it nails… mostly. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 offers ridiculous performance for the price, the 2K AMOLED screen is simply gorgeous, and battery life is top-tier. Add in 90W charging, IP68 water and dust resistance, and some smart AI features, and you’ve got one of the most well-rounded phones at this end of the market. Sure, the ultrawide camera is basic, there’s some bloatware to remove, and I would love to see a brighter display that you can actually use outdoors – but these are nitpicks in the face of what you’re getting overall. With such an aggressive price, I think that the F7 Pro is one of the best value buys of 2025. If you care more about everyday speed, battery, and visuals than bleeding-edge camera features, the Poco F7 Pro is the phone to beat. Just be sure that the more expensive Poco F7 Ultra wouldn’t suit you better.

Poco has made an effort to make the F7 Ultra worthy of the name, and in relation to its own phones, it has succeeded. Developing its own GPU, ISP, and software management systems is a big step forward, and the ISP definitely impresses. The phone nails the desirable combination of power and ability, adding in good battery life and very fast charging for a phone ideally suited to demanding every day use. There’s real brand identity in the F7 Ultra, and it’s a far more interesting phone than the F6 Pro. As Poco F-series phones go, this one is Ultra alright. It brings a telephoto camera to the lineup and it's a standout performer not just among Pocos (which don't normally have telephotos at all), but among similarly priced competitors. Its cameraphone prowess isn't all-encompassing, like on a 'true flagship', but it's uniquely capable in its context, we think. You may have to learn to live with only a modest ultrawide, selfies are merely alright like on most other Xiaomis, there's no eSIM support (at least on our unit), and sourcing an adapter that can max out the F7 Ultra's charging speed could prove tricky. But these don't sound like dealbreaking offenses to us - maybe just the eSIM bit, and only to a certain crowd. Those aside, the F7 Ultra doesn't have any notable shortcomings. It's got a strong game on the fundamentals - the display is top-notch, charging speed potential is among the best in class, speakers are great, the chipset is plenty powerful. This one is looking like an easy recommendation from us

It’s always tempting to point of what’s missing rather than what’s here, but everything on offer from Poco has to be considered alongside the price point, which at $649/£650 is a complete bargain. Is this an Ultra phone, though? I would say that in terms of performance, yes, it is. But, you’re still getting a few compromises to make sure that they can still maintain a fairly aggressive price tag on this phone. If you’re mostly in it for the raw power of a smartphone, I’d say put this on your shortlist if you’re picking out a smartphone this year.

With the F7 Ultra coming in at a starting price of £650, as a phone with flagship specs, it beats the Pixel 9 which is priced the same currently on Google's store, it also beats the Galaxy S25 512GB which Samsung wants £959 for at the time of writing. The F7 Ultra is a better phone between these devices given its price and genuine flagship performance. I am sure that most people looking for a phone with the power and speed of a true flagship will not be too concerned about some highlight detail bneing lost in scenes when taking photos, but for those who spend a lot of time taking photos and videos, this will definitely be an issue and I do hope Xiaomi is listening to this feedback, as it will only enhance the potential customer base in the long run and finally we would see a true contender for ultimate flagship phone, without the crazy prices the big three brands out there are wanting these days.

In the end, I’m a bit torn with the Poco F7 Ultra. Yes, it’s Poco’s most powerful phone to date, and it has a strong spec sheet. But I don’t think it lives up to that promise of an ‘Ultra’ phone in the way Poco would like you to think. For one, its processor feels like it’s underclocked compared to other Snapdragon 8 Elite phones like the OnePlus 13 and Honor Magic 7 Pro. The 120W charging speeds don’t seem to refill the phone as quickly as it should, and the camera system is inconsistent, and not as strong as what you’d find in the more expensive ‘Ultra’ phones. That’s without mentioning the Wi-Fi connectivity issues I experienced during testing. Still, it delivers on the typical Poco benchmarks.

Xiaomi:

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.

Qualcomm Adreno 750: Графический чип для смартфонов и планшетов, интегрированный в SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm утверждает, что он на 25% быстрее, чем Adreno 7340 в Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, а первые бенчмарки показывают, что GPU может обойти iGPU Apple A17 Pro.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Интегрированный графический блок в SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite для смартфонов с тремя платами по 1,1 ГГц каждая. Встроенный общий кэш-память объемом 12 МБ для трех сегментов. По данным Qualcomm, на 40% быстрее, чем предыдущее поколение (Adreno 750).

SD 8 Gen 3: Высокотехнологичная SoC для смартфонов, представленная в конце 2022 года, оснащена быстрым основным ядром на базе архитектуры ARM Cortex-X3 с тактовой частотой до 3,2 ГГц. Еще два производительных ядра основаны на A715 и также поддерживают только 64-битные приложения. Два дополнительных ядра A710 также поддерживают 32-битные приложения, как и энергосберегающие ядра Cortex-A510. Помимо процессорных ядер, в SoC интегрированы модем WiFi 7, DSP Hexagon (для ускорения искусственного интеллекта) и провайдер Spectra ISP. Встроенный контроллер памяти поддерживает быструю память LPDDR5x с частотой до 4 200 МГц. технология 5G включена в чип с модемом Snapdragon X70.

SD 8 Elite: Высокотехнологичный SoC (System on a Chip) для смартфонов, который был представлен в конце 2024 года. В него интегрированы два быстрых ядра Oryon Gen 2 Prime с частотой до 4,32 ГГц и 6 меньших ядер Oryon Gen 2 Performance с частотой до 3,53 ГГц.
