Поэтому на технологии не поскупились: шикарный OLED дисплей с частотой 90 Гц и без вырезов, лучший процессор Qualcomm, лучшая в мире память, большая батарея, три камеры. Последние сначала разочаровали, потом с обновлениями стало лучше, но до реальных камерофонов не дотягивают и сейчас. Не хватает и беспроводной зарядки, и защиты от воды. Смартфон идеально подходит для развлечений (мощное железо, гигантский экран). Для фотосъемки больше годится Huawei P30 Pro с десятикратным гибридным зумом. Аудиоразъем и поддержка карт памяти есть в Galaxy S10+ — это самый практичный вариант по схожей цене. А можно сэкономить пару десятков тысяч и взять Xiaomi Mi 9. Заметно потеряете только в автономности и стабилизации камер.

Время, когда смартфоны OnePlus стоили неприлично дешево, безвозвратно прошло, но и оснащение, а также инженерное, производитель теперь предлагает достойное, не ограничиваясь только акцентом на последнюю версию Snapdragon. В OnePlus 7 Pro нам понравились дисплей с частотой обновления 90 Гц, отсутствие вырезов и островков, стереозвучание, быстрая зарядка Warp Charge, оперативный выпуск обновлений, тройная основная камера и выезжающий модуль фронтальной. Не устроить может отсутствие беспроводной зарядки и аудиоразъема. Как итог, перед нами один из лучших флагманских смартфонов 2019 года.

Overall, the positioning for this device is quite weird. It’s still a lot cheaper than the competition, but it skips a lot of fundamentals that many users find important. Its camera is pretty good, but suffers in low light. The battery life is average at best. You can’t officially use this phone in the shower. There is no headphone jack. Nor is there wireless charging. If these are all things you need, you’re going to have to pay for a pricier flagship to get them.

However for me I feel that the phone is cutting a bit too many corner in terms of its camera. I could have lived with the slightly worse speakers and somewhat lower battery performance in order to enjoy the fantastic 90Hz screen, however the camera disadvantages are just a tad too much. OnePlus can very much remedy these aspects over the coming weeks and months, and I’m very sure there will be software updates in this regard, but it's unknown just exactly how much OnePlus will improve these aspects, and one shouldn’t base one’s purchasing decisions today on tomorrow’s possible improvements.

As I mentioned in the introduction to this review, I've never felt like OnePlus smartphones were the best before. Sure, they had flagship parts for a price that's much lower than competitors, but if the price of the OnePlus 6T was the same as a Galaxy S9 or a Huawei P20 Pro, I certainly wouldn't pick the OnePlus 6T. That changes with the OnePlus 7 Pro. Despite some issues that I've had with the software, and there have been many, this is an objectively awesome phone, regardless of the price. I also have faith in OnePlus that there will be software updates that fix the issues that I've had.
