Если Nokia 8 подешевеет до 30-32 тысяч рублей — можно брать в амплуа максимально быстрого смартфона с модными и забавными доработками в камерах. Но за 40 тысяч здесь и сейчас «китайский премиум» и подешевевшие флагманы побеждают в сравнении с Nokia почти по всем дисциплинам, кроме производительности процессора. Поддерживается Full HD и 4К видеосъемка, в обоих случаях с максимальной скоростью 30 fps. Звук пишется с технологией OZO Audio. Используя массив всех трех микрофонов, камере получается записать звук сфокусированный на определенном источнике. При этом подчеркиваются нюансы звучания картины вокруг. Итог — очень качественный и впечатляющий объемный звук, передающий нюансы пространства.

Overall though I was impressed with the Nokia 8. It costs around £500 SIM free in the UK. You have a chance to get a stunning looking device that packs a lot of punch. However, you may find it hard to compete with devices such as OnePlus with their 5T considering the better camera, dual SIM, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for the same price.

Le Nokia 8 est selon lecteurs un très bon smartphone. L’écran les a séduit, tout comme l’interface ou encore l’autonomie. Toutefois le haut de gamme de la marque a quelques petits défauts comme l’appareil photo qui pourrait être amélioré ou le design qui pourrait être plus proche des standards d’aujourd’hui. Comme l’explique très bien Sébastien (qui lui octroie la note de 4/5), « le Nokia 8 est un bel appareil, non exempt de petits défauts, mais qui ramène Nokia sur le marché des smartphones ». Le retour de Nokia est donc réussi et devra être confirmé en 2018.

The Nokia 8 Sirocco improves upon the manufacturer’s smartphone camera hardware, packing in a dual camera with tele-lens for optical zoom shots and a good PDAF autofocus system. Overall image quality is a step up from the predecessor Nokia 8, offering slightly more consistent results for exposure and color. Its performance and image quality is competent, if not exceptional, with the best photos captured in bright light, producing images with good exposure, color, and texture. Results in lower light are acceptable, but it’s not an ideal low-light shooter, with losses of texture and color saturation evident, especially in very low light. Overall, for a mid-range device, the Nokia 8 Sirocco does an OK job with both photos and video, but devices with better results are available at this price point.

На удивление Nokia 8.1 оказался едва ли не самым сбалансированным смартфоном в ассортименте HMD Global. Touch is mostly accurate on the entire display surface, but the device lacks smoothness. While the Nokia 8.3 5G ignores ghost touches on its edges in portrait orientation, it does not do so when in landscape mode. Further, aliasing is quite visible when playing video games. But the device manages judder well at 24, 30, and 60 fps, and is flicker-free.

Ultimately, we can’t recommend the Nokia 8 V. It just delivers too little bang for the buck. $700 buys you Google’s Pixel 5 (also with mmWave 5G support), or Samsung’s Galaxy S20 SE (with a Snapdragon 865 and telephoto shooter). Both pack far better cameras (with OIS), wireless charging, and water resistance (IP68). We want Nokia to succeed, but for this to happen, it needs to step up and compete. Instead, this time, it stumbled.

Had the 8 V 5G hit the market six months ago, our rating would likely have been quite different. Instead it comes up against similarly priced phones, including the Apple iPhone 12 Mini, Google Pixel 5, and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, that offer a number of features you won’t find on Nokia’s latest flagship. If it were something as simple as an LCD versus an OLED display that would be one thing, but the 8 V 5G lacks an IP rating, Android One, competitive cameras, and even wireless charging. Nokia phones have typically offered a lot of value for their price, but the 8 V 5G just doesn’t add up.

Nokia:

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся лишь с самыми простыми играми, больше подходя для простых дел - просмотра видео в Сети и обработки документов. Плюсом можно считать скромный нагрев и расход энергии.

Qualcomm Adreno 540: Встроенная графика для смартфонов, используется в чипсете Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. Была представлена в начале 2017 года, устанавливается во все флагманские Android-смартфоны/планшеты. 

Qualcomm Adreno 620: ARM-графика, использующаяся в чипсетах Snapdragon 765/765G

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности практически не подходят дли игр, но справятся с самыми простыми делами, вроде отображения 2D-материала на экране умеренного разрешения.

Qualcomm Adreno 616: ARM графика для смартфонов, являющаяся частью чипсета Snapdragon 710. Согласно Qualcomm она на 30% производительнее Adreno 512 В Snapdragon 660.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 835: Топовый чипсет для смартфонов и планшетов в 2017 году. Производится по 10 нм LPP FinFET техпроцессу силами TSMC. Процессор состоит из двух кластеров: производительный из 4 ядер Kryo 280 (Cortex-A75) с частотой 2.45 ГГц и энергоэффективный из 4 ядер Kryo 280 с частотой 1.9 Ггц.

SD 710: Производительный ARM-чипсет среднего уровня с 8-ядерным процессором (Kryo 360, 1.8 - 2.4 ГГц). включающий довольно производительную графику Adreno 616. Производится по 14-нм техпроцессу. 

SD 765G: Производительный ARM-чипсет с 8 ядрами Kryo 475
