Кроме того, почти "безрамочный" дисплей, поверхность которого заменяет мембрану "разговорного" динамика, помог избавиться от уже изрядно поднадоевшей многим, но все еще модной, "челки". По сравнению с другими флагманами, оснащенными столь же мощным процессором, Vivo Nex в первую очередь выделяется размером своей 6,59-дюймовой Super AMOLED-матрицы. К несомненным достоинствам следует также отнести увеличенный объем оперативной памяти (8 ГБ), Hi-Fi-звук и аккумулятор повышенной емкости (4 000 мА*ч) с быстрой зарядкой.

The OLED screen is superb, the rear camera is competent, and battery life is impressive. However, the software has niggles, the fingerprint scanner is unreliable, calls are hard to hear, and many flagship features such as waterproofing and wireless charging are conspicuous by their absence. In fact, these issues overshadow the phone's powerful processor.

Although some will quibble about the absence of water resistance and of course, face unlock, we do not think these are deal breakers, considering what the Nex delivers. Yes, the pop-up selfie camera will get it attention, but this is a very solid performer overall.

Qualcomm Adreno 630: Встроенная графика для смартфонов, используется в чипсете Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. Согласно Qualcomm, решение на 30% превосходит Adreno 540 в Snapdragon 835 при сокращенном на 30% энергопотреблении.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся лишь с самыми простыми играми, больше подходя для простых дел - просмотра видео в Сети и обработки документов. Плюсом можно считать скромный нагрев и расход энергии.

SD 845: Топовый чипсет для смартфонов, представлен в начале 2018 года. Производится по 10 нм LPP FinFET техпроцессу силами TSMC. Процессор состоит из двух кластеров: производительный из 4 ядер Kryo 385 (Cortex-A75) с частотой 2.8 ГГц и энергоэффективный из 4 ядер Kryo 385 с частотой 1.8 Ггц. Содержит модем X20 LTE, двухдиапазонный модуль WiFi и 32-битный двухканальный контроллер памяти LPDDR4x 1866 МГц.
