Для меня OPPO Find N3 стал первым складывающимся смартфоном, с которым я столь близко познакомился. Поначалу аппарат вызвал смешанные чувства, поскольку казался слишком тяжёлым и толстым (в сложенном виде). Однако эти ощущения довольно быстро прошли, и новинка стала восприниматься почти как классический смартфон. Это во многом заслуга внешнего дисплея, который имеет нормальное соотношение сторон и удобен в использовании одной рукой. В итоге мы получаем два действительно удобных и, можно сказать, равнозначных дисплея — Find N3 не создаёт необходимости то и дело раскрывать смартфон, чтобы полноценно его использовать. Но всё же главной отличительной особенностью OPPO Find N3 стали его камеры. Многие складные смартфоны не могут похвастаться качеством съёмки на уровне традиционного флагмана, хотя от дорогого смартфона ждёшь, что он будет превосходным во всём.

Honestly I am extremely impressed with the OPPO Find N3 and as a foldable I do like the bigger inside screen and the cameras and software and the overall experience in my book is just off the scale impressive. Granted there was one or two little things I would like to be changed such as the overlapping apps along with possibly redesigning the massively huge camera bump at the back but otherwise for me, the OPPO Find N3 screen premium, high end performance and luxury and it is a worth competitor and possibly the winner of best foldable so far for 2024 in my books. My only question still remains – longevity of the device and foldable screen, especially with the price but also with the majority of consumers holding onto their phones for longer periods than previous generations.

At RM7,999, the Find N3 is a big boy’s toy, a device for someone with oodles of disposable income and to that end, it’s a luxury item that, while not necessarily practical at times, individuals would buy, all for that “look at me, look at me”, while it lasts. And believe me, unfolding this device in public during the review process has actually gotten me some unexpected attention, with folks falling to the allure of that big Hasselblad module and coming up to me, asking about it. And yes, it may not be as feature-friendly as the Galaxy Z Fold5, a foldable which has basically become the benchmark that every other foldable entering the market needs to meet or beat. Did I have fun using the Find N3 as my daily driver, along with features like its Boundless View mode and the fact I can pretty much use Google Wallet with it? Absolutely. Would I recommend it wholeheartedly as a common option to the masses?

The Find N3 is a worthy entrant into the large foldable space, together with the OnePlus Open that shares most of its DNA. It competes well with the benchmark in the class, the Galaxy Z Fold5, by delivering as good or better results in key areas, while not really falling short in any major way. For example, the Find N3's rear cameras are more versatile on both the ultrawide and telephoto end. The displays on the Oppo foldable are nicer in almost every way, and on top of what is mostly a tie battery life, the Find N3 adds quicker charging. The nice speakers help too. The Oppo also offers a compelling alternative to what's been one of Samsung's key selling points - the software bits to make the most out of the form factor. Other makers have been unable to nail those until now, but ColorOS appears to have done it just right. Where the Find N3 can't quite challenge the Galaxy is in water resistance and high refresh rate handling when it comes to gaming.

So, for the price of RM7,999, is the OPPO Find N3 worth it? I’ll say yes and no. It kinda depends on what you want. I think the cameras on the OPPO Find N3 are definitely fantastic, alongside the alert slider and some of the software features. I am optimistic about this, but I am also cautious about other aspects like IP rating, the taskbar that’s oddly limiting, and the Fineasy… that needs to change. I just think that the price of RM7,999 is definitely high, and it’ll be interesting when we put things in perspective with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 which costs RM700 cheaper for the same storage configuration. Again, that comparison will come soon. So that’s all I have to share with you in this video. Is the OPPO Find N3 the perfect foldable device? Definitely not. There is no perfect foldable device, at least not right now.
