На стартовой распродаже полгода назад за Honor X7b просили ₽18990 ($216). Потом вообще грозились поднять цену до ₽20990 ($239). Подняли или нет - не знаю. Но, в любом случае, те цены - откровенный перебор. Но вот ₽13000 ($148) - это, согласитесь, совсем другое дело. За такие деньги с чистой совестью готов рекомендовать данный смартфон к покупке. Ну да, он из неспешных. Но... Как бы на этом и всё. Я затрудняюсь зачислить в явные недостатки хоть что-то ещё. Так что моя оценка - девять баллов из десяти возможных. Можно брать. Нормальный недорогой вариант.

HONOR X7b — один из самых недорогих смартфонов-долгожителей в среднем ценовом сегменте, но с куда более интересными характеристиками, чем у предшественника. Да, тут не слишком мощная аппаратная платформа (но все равно в разы более актуальная, нежели у HONOR X7a), зато экран теперь с Full HD-разрешением, тыльные камеры вполне адекватные (особенно главная), оперативной памяти достаточно, ну и аудиовозможности очень неплохие. Это все еще смартфон, сосредоточенный в первую очередь на задаче прожить как можно дольше на одном заряде, но не бросающий теперь все ради этой цели.

Given my experience, the X7b from Honor isn’t a bad phone by any means. It has a charming back, clicks decent photos under the sun, and gives me peace of mind in the battery department. Having said that, its value propositions just fall short of the competition at the moment. The Redmi Note 13 (review) from Xiaomi is the X7b’s greatest competitor both in terms of specs and pricing and offers a better overall value in my opinion. Starting off with similarities, you are going to get about the same raw performance on both devices with their Snapdragon chips but Redmi’s 120Hz refresh rate is just going to make everything feel smoother. And since it’s AMOLED, the display contrast, colors, and viewing experience are going to be better on the Note as well. Its stereo speakers also sound a bit more balanced and you are getting a slightly better ultrawide too.

However, the smartphone lacks 5G connectivity, which can be a deal breaker for many users. Honor explains that it was an intentional decision to keep the costs down. But the cost of the Honor X7b is not that cheap either. At that cost, there are other smartphones in the market that more or less provide a similar design and specs while also providing 5G. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 is an exceptional example of this. It not only provides 5G but also provides far better specs for around the same price tag or even lower. However, the global availability of Redmi Note 13 can be a bit problematic as the smartphone often goes out of stock, which is not the case with the Honor X7b. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your needs and requirements.

It outperformed its predecessor, the Honor X7a, with improved autonomy and charging performances. The Honor X7b is equipped with a high-capacity battery of 6000 mAh, which lasted almost four days (95 hours) when used moderately. The device was well-optimized for each use case thanks to its very low discharging current. Its impressive endurance in each individually tested case earned the device the top spot in autonomy in our database. Графические процессоры этой категории производительности практически не подходят дли игр, но справятся с самыми простыми делами, вроде отображения 2D-материала на экране умеренного разрешения.
