Rogue Factor has released a free major update for Hell is Us, and the game is also heading to Nintendo Switch 2 and GOG. The studio says 2 million players have now ventured into the game’s world, which has been ravaged by civil war and the Calamity. The team built the update in direct response to community feedback, and it thanked players for sharing their journeys, their fierce battles and their detailed thoughts on the game.

Three times as many Hollow Walkers

The update expands the combat system with three times as many unique Hollow Walkers. Each enemy type has distinct attack patterns and demands its own tactical approach, so players will need to master their weapons and drone all over again. For anyone who has already finished the game, that means every encounter now calls for a fresh read of the fight. Rogue Factor has also published an update trailer showing the new threats in action.

The update is free for every owner of the game. It downloads automatically the next time you connect to your platform on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S, so there is nothing to buy and no manual patching to do.

Following requests from many PC players, Hell is Us officially joins the GOG catalog on October 29. That makes GOG another PC storefront for the game alongside Steam and Epic Games Store.
