Если относиться к ноутбуку Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA как к устройству для потребления, а не создания контента, то он очень неплох. Действительно, когда речь заходит о таких тонких, легких, компактных ноутбуках, то в подавляющем большинстве случаев они используются именно для потребления контента, в круг их основных задач входит работа с почтой и с офисными программами, интернет-серфинг, общение через интернет, просмотр видео и фото. И для таких задач Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA подходит идеально. А вот ресурсоемкие задачи, вроде видеомонтажа, профессиональной обработки фотографий и др., этому ноутбуку не по зубам. Собственно, он на такие задачи и не ориентирован — ноутбуки, которые могут эффективно работать с ресурсоемкими приложениями, относятся уже совсем к другой ценовой категории. Подчеркнем, что Asus ZenBook Flip UX360CA — это решение начального уровня производительности. Тестирование в играх мы даже не стали проводить — настолько этот ноутбук для них не предназначен.

We were keen to take a look inside the ZenBook however the two halves of the chassis are joined by a couple of ribbon cables that were glued in place. We may well have been able to unpeel the cables but it felt like a risky move so we backed off rather than breaking one of only a handful of sample ZenBooks at the time of writing.

It’s great to see a notebook that offers more than just a lower price. The Zenbook Flip is no doubt a luxury product, with its ultra-thin design, luxury feel and solid performance. Even if you don't need the touchscreen, it’s a product that's a worthy competitor to the Apple Macbook. There are a few things that hold it back a little, with a weaker hinge than I'd like and a highly reflective screen. But as a complete package, the UX360CA proves that it’s possible to have a fantastic ultraportable notebook with minimal compromise.

ASUS proved once again that thin, light and elegant ZenBooks are still a thing and keep up with today’s industry standards. There are no corners cut and the notebook provides elevated user experience compared to its predecessor – the UX305. Yes, sure, it costs a bit more but adds tons of other features that the older model didn’t have while keeping what’s important. It has the same nice-looking, premium and sturdy chassis, excellent keyboard – although the LED-backlit illumination is still missing – and touchpad, it’s thin and light and adds a cool 360-degree rotatable hinge design.
