HP's Spectre x360 16 is a premium 2-in-1 convertible with a new, high-res 16:10 OLED touchscreen and pen input. While last year's predecessor still used an Intel Gen 12 CPU, this year's model has skipped a generation and now uses a Core Ultra with an NPU for AI applications. Furthermore, the device has been given even more updates and in this review, we will be looking at whether they have improved the 16-inch Spectre.
HP's Spectre x360 16 is a premium 2-in-1 convertible with a new, high-res 16:10 OLED touchscreen and pen input. The HP Spectre x360 16 (16-aa0000) is a multipurpose laptop with transforming capabilities. It looks stealthy, modern, and even distinctive thanks to the diagonal corners on the sides. The all-metal build feels premium to the touch and the rigidity is on point. The input devices are impressive, the backlit keyboard is comfortable for long hours of work and the enormous touchpad is smooth and accurate. No matter if you are going to use the notebook for gaming or maybe 3D rendering, you can expect snappy overall performance. That’s possible thanks to the competent cooling solution with two large fans and a pair of long heat pipes. That’s why the power is always there when you need it because of the high CPU frequencies even under prolonged periods is 100% processor loads. In this scenario, the two fans remain near-silent which amazes us.

The Spectre x360 16 puts me in a difficult position. On the one hand, it’s an excellent 360-degree convertible 2-in-1 with a solid build, beautiful OLED display, and superior keyboard and touchpad. Its performance is very good for all but demanding creators. Therein lies the rub. As a 16-inch laptop, the Spectre should appeal most to that very market — demanding creators — but it’s simply too slow.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности способны на многое и подойдут для большинства игр, иногда даже при максимальных настройках и разрешениях. Чаще всего GPU "просто верхнего" уровня производительности расходуют заметно меньше энергии, чем самые-самые топовые и дорогие модели.
